    Foscam C1 reviews

720p HD Indoor Wireless IP Camera is rated 2.8 out of 5 by 5.
Rated 1 out of 5 by from Terrible cloud software, hours wasted, bad billing support I did eventually get cloud recording set up for $/month at (the red website/app).Foscam has multiple cloud viewing/recording apps and websites. They're both half baked. Some materials in the box directed me to go to the blue website, and some directed me to go to the red website. Each color website has a corresponding color app. The blue website looked nicer and was easy to set up to get live viewing online, but it said cloud recording not available or something like that when I tried to click the button to purchase cloud recording. I think maybe it's not compatible with the C1. The red website required me to configure port forwarding and a dynamic hostname for my home network. Both websites were very buggy. On the red website, which ultimately had a mostly-working core product (the cloud recording), a lot of features were just not implemented. For example, there's a link to change your timezone, but when you click the link you just get an error page.My account on the red website somehow got into a bad state where it wouldn't record motion events anymore (even though it was still configured to do so). I opened a second account, paid for it again, and the second account worked again. I asked for a refund on the first account and after not responding to my inquiry for a week they eventually gave me the refund

Rated 2 out of 5 by from The cloud software is less than half baked First of all, getting this connected to your network can be a huge ordeal. I pretty quickly had to give up on the quick start instructions and read the user's manual.Foscam has two Foscam cloud websites and two Foscam cloud apps, both with similar functionality. Different materials in the box will point you to one or the other. There's the Foscam Cloud app, which is red themed and seems to correspond to, and then there's the Foscam app, which is blue themed and seems to correspond to @. The blue app/site looks nicer and sets up more automatically via the QR code on the unit, but when you want to set up recording, the Purchase Cloud Recording button says Doesn't support cloud recording. The red site is a pain to set up because you need to get port forwarding working in your router and set up DynDNS, but once you set it up, the red app actually lets you purchase cloud recording. In both of the sites, many of the features were half baked. For example, in the red site, when you try to set your time zone, the button to save that is broken. Same deal with the button for adding notification emails.Ultimately, although the red site was recording clips when it detected motion (after I started paying for the subscription), it stopped recording motion clips for some reason and now I'm trying to figure out why. It seems to be a bug.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great IP camera I have 3 of these and the video quality is great. These are very easy to set up if you know what you are doing....they are seen right away by your network. Well worth the money.
