For photographers looking to store their work online, as well as have the ability to quickly share, sell, and market their work to clients, the Cloud Spot Starter Plan is a unique solution that pairs efficient cloud storage with a functional interface to showcase and deliver your imagery. Aside from storing your work online, Cloud Spot's main asset is the ability to share files with clients or other viewers, along with the option to directly download imagery from emails or browse event catalogs in custom-designed web galleries. An invisible client interface, along with a range of logo and personalization features, allows you to maintain the focus on your branding and emphasize your content. The final component to Cloud Spot allows you to sell prints or other photo products directly from your web galleries in a seamless manner. This 12-month subscription Starter plan offers 200GB of online storage space, which is split into 100GB of easily accessible cloud storage and 100GB of long-term, archival vault storage. Designed as a tool to help save time when communicating and sharing work with clients, Cloud Spot is a single solution for keeping and distributing your photographs.
The total amount of storage afforded by the Starter plan is split into two categories: cloud and vault. Cloud storage is more easily accessible and intended for storing your most recent events or uploads for sharing and delivery. Vault storage is intended for long-term keeping of imagery, such as past/completed events or general backups. The image files from your vault can be brought into the cloud storage at any time if you need to re-share or view them again.
When uploading files to your cloud or vault storage, an easy-to-use drag-and-drop interface allows you to upload individual files or folders to your account. Multiple events can be queued and you can also continue to work on other projects while uploads occur in the background. Furthermore, a dedicated plug-in permits seamless sharing of image files straight from Adobe Lightroom and imagery can also be imported directly from Dropbox.
Beyond cloud storage, Cloud Spot also shines with its ability to quickly and efficiently share your imagery with clients or other viewers. Using imagery that has been uploaded to your cloud storage, you can easily create online galleries for others to view your work as well as email imagery to clients to view or download.
Both galleries and emails can be customized using your own branding material, such as different logos, cover photos, colors, text, and layouts, and templates can be saved to help expedite mailing clients notices. You can also instantly add watermarks to your files prior to sending or sharing, saving you time when editing photos, and you can choose to share images at a web size, 4 x 6", 8 x 12", or full-resolution original size. Downloads and galleries can further be adjusting using limits, expiration dates, or passwords to restrict access.
Online galleries feature a transparent interface between the client and Cloud Spot, which helps to emphasize your own content and branding. Clients can also favorite, share, and download images from web galleries, and you have the opportunity to gain analytics from their activity to monitor visiting and favoriting history. Additionally, galleries are formatted for viewing on any device type, ranging from computers to smartphones.
Sell Prints and Products
In addition to viewing and downloading image files, your Cloud Spot can also be configured for selling prints and other image-based products through the White House Custom Color lab. Cloud Spot does not take any commissions on sales and you are able to set your own prices and configure unique price catalogs for your clients. If configured, the ordering interface is seamlessly integrated within the web galleries and is also optimized for ordering and use on mobile devices.
