There are no exact fit. This generic fit box and grid would be the best bet https://bhpho.to/356sCOb.

question

What is this light designed for? Back light, fill, key?
Asked by: Thomas
The main benefit of the Aputure Light Storm LS 1/2w LED Light (especially for an LED light panel) is its extreme wide 120 beam angle. It is a bright light fixture for its size and the number of bulbs on the unit, but it will not be as bright as a full 1x1' panel. As such, it would be best when you are working in tight spaces and you need a bright light with a wide beam angle for maximum coverage. The wide angle of view would make it good to place behind your subject for illuminating the background, or you may use it close to your subject in a small area as a key light, or pull it back slightly for use as a fill light, adjusting the output to your desired level. In larger rooms, it most likely will not be used as a key light, and would work better as a close fill light option. Due to its slim design, working in small areas like vehicles, tight rooms, or narrow hallways would be perfect for this light fixture. How it will be used would be determined by your shooting area and your lighting needs, as people can find creative uses other than those stated above, but that is how I would use the above fixture for my usage needs.

question

Which is brighter, this or Fiilex P360EX??
Asked by: Yasuhiro U.
Based on the lux ratings for each light when placed at 3.2 feet, the Fiilex P360 would measure 1710 lux while the Aputure Lightstorm LS w measures 1100 lux. With that being said, the Fiilex P360 would be brighter.

Can anyone recommend a padded carrying case that will protect this product and it's OEM accessories for ground transportation? I do not need a Pelican case for this as I have a 1610 trunk that I want to a padded case into. Thanks.

A case to consider would be the Impact LKB-R1 Light Kit Roller Bag #1 (Small, Black) B&H # IMLKBR1 which can hold an Aputure Lightstorm LS unit with accessories. Please see the image below for reference.

Unfortunately, Aputure does not measure the output of this light in terms of watts. What they do offer is the lux rating which is 4000 lux at 3.3 from the subject.

question

I have this light and noticed that the Anton Bauer battery controller box features a D-tap port. Does this mean I could use one Gold Mount battery to simultaneously power this Aputure light, plus another light connected to the battery through D-tap?
Asked by: Carrie
No, the d-tap on the controller is the part you plug into the wall outlet if you are not using a battery.Otherwise the one you are referring to uses an Anton Bauer gold mount battery. You can use both at the same time.
