Gitup Git1 overview

  • 1Description

The Git1 Action Camera Standard Pack from GitUp goes where the action takes you, letting you record your extreme sports, outdoor adventures, and daily activities in up to 1080p at 30 fps, as well as take 12MP still photos. For an immersive feel to your video, the camera uses an ultra-wide angle lens with a wide 160° angle of video that sees virtually the entire scene in front of it. A 1.5" LCD screen on the back of the camera provides an easy way to monitor and playback your shots. You can also monitor video and control the camera remotely over Wi-Fi using an app designed for iOS and Android mobile devices. Additionally, an optional wrist-worn remote control is available for activities where you don't want to take your phone or need both hands free.

The camera records to microSD/SDHC/SDXC memory cards up to 64GB in capacity, using H.264 compression. The camera has a built-in microphone, but you can also connect an external microphone to the mini-USB port. The USB port also lets you transfer files to a computer and recharge the included lithium-ion battery pack. The pack provides around 90 minutes of 1080p video recording. Rounding out the camera's connectivity is a Micro-HDMI port for viewing your videos in full quality on your HDTV.

    Gitup Git1 reviews

Git1 Action Camera (Standard Pack) is rated 2.0 out of 5 by 1.
Rated 2 out of 5 by from The external mic input doesn't work due to a bug. Bought two of these to 1st test them out for a project with Nissan doing test drives with the intention of buying 6 of them with skeleton cases and suction cups. My client needed good audio from the driver's comments during the test drives but the external mic port didn't work during rehearsal setup. I contacted the manufacturer in China through email and they confirmed there was a bug with the ext. mic input. They said they would have the firmware to fix it in one month but my project was in the 8 days so I had to buy 6 of the GoPros 3+ locally. It also does not record in MP4 like it claims. It records in MOV. The video is ok. I asked the manufaturer if they could send me one for free so I could try out the ext. mic when the firmware was ready and for all the hassle time wasted and they refused.
