    HUBSAN H111 reviews

Q4 Nano H111 Quadcopter (Yellow) is rated 3.5 out of 5 by 18.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Fun, good value This is a pretty decent gadget, especially for the price. Just be prepared to replace a lot of the blades. Seems to run 3-5 min.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great stocking stuffer Didn't expect much at this price point but it really surprised me. Fun with just enough challenging to fly. I'm averaging about 3-4 minutes of flight time. Charges quick. Note that although the description states it comes with place guards, it does not.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fun little Toy This is a toy it does not contain a camera or anything fancy. But It is great practice for a larger more expensive model. It is reasonable in cost and is a great gift as a toy.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Training Drone This drone is a great way to learn how to fly larger, more expensive drones. It seems to fly for up to five minutes and is very fast and maneuverable.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from World's Smallest? Hubsan's documentation claims that this is the World's smallest quadcopter, a claim also made by a competitor. I can't verify which claim is right, having yet to see the competitor, but this one is small enough for indoor air currents to pose a controllability issue -- and quadcopters generate their own air currents. Also I find gyro-control of yaw (rotation) stability to be rather imprecise. The instructions are inaccurate in places, and fail to adequately describe the various control modes (there are several; I'm actually unsure how many) -- but I've seen the same with other mini-quadcopter instructions. This quadcopter is not equipped to perform stunts like flips. Flight duration is limited due to the tiny size, which is understandable. But recharge is quite quick. Get the crash pack; you'll need the spare propellers as they are tiny and delicate, and there's no blade guard included, even though one is shown in the instructions. The crash pack also includes spare batteries, which are well worth having and IMPOSSIBLE to find in the Aftermarket.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Not what I was looking for I'm relatively new to quad copters and wanted something to fly indoors. Wanted to sharpen my skills while waiting for warmer weather. The H111 didn't have what I wanted. I found it to unstable. Added some prop guards hoping it would bounce off walls instead of popping off props and falling to the floor. That was a waste of time. The guards severely limited the drones power and agility plus they didn't protect the props. The power, toughness and battery life all seemed reasonable. Picked up an eachine e010 and am very happy with that.
