Achieve brilliant soft lighting and easily set up a chroma green backdrop with this Raya Octa Fluorescent 7-Socket Fixture with Portable Background 2-Light Kit from B&H. At the core of the kit are two Octa Fluorescent 7-Socket Fixtures, each capable of holding 7 lamps with a maximum total wattage of 350W. Two selectable settings are available for only using four or three lamps at one time via rocker switches on the back of the fixture and each light has both a locking time knob and 5/8" receiver for mounting and positioning. Also, this kit includes two 32" octa softboxes for dramatically softer lighting, two air-cushioned heavy duty light stands, fourteen 27W/120V 5000K spiral fluorescent lamps, a chroma green collapsible background, and a multiboom light stand and reflector holder.
Raya Octa Fluorescent 7 Socket Fixture
The OC-OF7 Octa Fluorescent 7 Socket Fixture from Raya is a 7 Edison socket base that accepts up to seven 50W CFL fluorescents with a combined wattage of 350W. Individual socket rating is 105 watts.
The OC-OF7's back panel has dual rocker switches, each of which control on/off function for 3 or 4 lamps allowing the creation of a light ratio. The Octa OC-OF7 has a multi-voltage power supply for worldwide use (with optional adapter plug) and has a standard 5/8" receiver for light stands and accessories. The OC-OF7 can also be combined with the optional Raya OC-OSB80 32" Octa Softbox, which has been custom designed to modify the light output of this fixture.
Raya Octa Soft Box for Octa Fluorescent 7 (32")
The 32" OC-OSB80 Octa Softbox from Raya is an 8-sided light modifier supported by aluminum flexrods which are attached to the separately purchased Octa Fluorescent 7 fixture.
The softbox features a highly reflective pebbled interior and a removable front face that attaches with simple touch-fasteners. It also has a detachable interior clip-on diffuser for additional soft light if desired. In use, it renders the signature wrap-around look that the modifier's shape is well known for, as well as natural circular catch-lights in your subjects eyes. This softbox is made to be used with the OC-OF7 Fluorescent 7 fixture and fluorescent lamps only.
Impact Heavy-Duty Air-Cushioned Light Stand (Black, 9.5')
This Impact Heavy-Duty Air-Cushioned Light Stand is a black anodized aluminum support that rises to a height of 9.5' and folds down to 42" for storage and transport. The stand will handle up to 22 lb and is topped with a removable 5/8" spigot with 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 threads. It has a wide footprint of 52" for greater stability. Air cushioning gently lowers the light when making height adjustments to protect equipment and fingers.

The Eiko SP27/50K Spiral Fluorescent lamp (26/120V) is an Edison base (E26) screw-in bulb, for the SP Systems Cool Light, Interfit, Impact, Bowens Tri-Lite, or any other floodlight fixture that can accept a large bulb. The lamp has a color temperature of 5000ยฐ and an average life of 10,000 hours. This lamp is not for use with dimmers, electronic timers, photocells, totally enclosed fixtures, motion/occupancy sensors, or where directly exposed to water.

Impact Multiboom Light Stand and Reflector Holder (13')
Theย Impact Convertible Boom Arm/Light Standย can support a small or medium light head to a height of 13'. Raise the second section completely, click, and it is a boom stand.ย As a boom, it can hold a small light head to an extension of almost 3' from the center of the stand.
It is a reflector holder by means of its two clips, which can support an Impact, Flexfill, or Photoflex light disc as large as 60".
A hole at the end of the arm allows an optional counterweight to be hung, for greater stability.
Using as a Boom Stand
- Loosen the large long handle in the middle of the stand.
- Loosen the top-most section of the stand. Pull that section all the way up.
- Pull! Swing it horizontally for the boom feature, and lock it for the desired setup.
