Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very nice product I use it to put Strobies Pro Flash 360 on light stands. Quality of the units are very nice- reasonable costs for them too.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Does the job Bought this to use on a 6' light stand. Works great and I really like the swivel instead of the older sectional types.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from great idea, not strong enough I love everything about this idea. However- two major flaws. It's not strong enough to hold the flash at any angle (slides down), especially with and small modifier on it. It also doesn't angle down, so you're limited to how high you can raise it. Please improve, Phottix! I would love a ball-head that works!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Using on Manfrotto 175 Justin Spring Clamp I wanted to put a flash on a flexible arm I use with a Manfrotto 175 Justin spring clamp on the end. The 175 Justin clamp has a female 1/4 thread (the sliver part) as does the Phottix US-A3 Umbrella swivel (on the bottom if you take off the cold shoe). To make it work, I ordered an Oben Reversible 1/4-20 & 3/8=16 Mounting Stud. Screw the stud into the clamp's 1/4 female fitting and the clamp now has both 1/4 and 3/8 studs to mount to. The swivel fits tight and secure with the flash on it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great swivel head This swivel head has answered my problems of precisely pointing my strobe where I want. I am using it with an AD200 and a 24" softbox. It seems to be well made and locks in place securely. Would buy this again.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good Choice It is very useful & good quality made.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Solid and compact Item is well made with the locks doing a good job of clamping down without backing off. Works fine on a boom arm and is able to hold even larger camera flashes (think Sunpak 120J or Godox AD180) at an angle no problem.
