    Canon MG7720 Reviews

PIXMA MG7720 Wireless All-in-One Inkjet Printer (Black) is rated 4.1 out of 5 by 218.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great home office printer and scanner I bought this to replace the Canon 8220 I'd been using for several years, when the scanner mechanism stopped working. I am very pleased with this new model. It is actually smaller and lighter than the 8220 and has more functionality. Scanning dox to PDF email attachments is a breeze. Wi-fi setup is easy, and I have it networked into my home devices. I can print directly from iPhone and iPad which saves uploading images to my computer. Print quality is excellent for everyday use. (I use an Epson for archival photo work.) I do miss the rear feed option which was great for one-off print jobs such as check printing or using custom papers, but I'm adjusting to the cassette-only process.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Printer To begin, I was given this printer to complete a product review sample on it. My first impression was it looked sleek and stylish. The many features that can print to this printer is a huge plus. Initial setup was very easy; install the ink and fill one of the two paper trays with paper and your up and running. I feel the 6 print cartridges offer the printer a wider range of colors it can print in. The added ability to have 2 trays for different paper in a nice advantage this printer has over my previous one. The LCD screen is easy to navigate and use. Also this printer is very quiet. I was very impressed with this printer and would recommend it!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Long setup time but worth it! We love this printer once we got it set up properly. Setting up this printer took a little longer than expected. We had to go through a lot of steps to set it up to our home wi-fi network. We may have made a mistake, but it seemed like excessive steps were required. Once it was setup, the printer is great! The quality is wonderful. It prints a wonderful array of colors. This printer is sleek and looks great in our home office. I love that there are different colors available. The cloud printing is incredibly convenient! The kids love it. This is a great addition to our home paperwork needs.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Great Pictures Love the printer hate the Wi-Fi. This is my second printer like this one and both have given me trouble with the Wi-Fi. Sometimes has a hard time connecting and now will not connect at all. I have been sitting here waiting for it to connect and has still not connecting. I have rebooted my W-Fi, he computer and the printer and is still not connecting. I had an Epson, and HP and neither of those gave me problems with the Wi-Fi. I bought this one for the quality of the photos. I had even spoke to a rep from Cannon from my first one. They sent me a new one but stil having trouble. Trying to hand in there but I am ready to throw in the towel and get another brand.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Ok, but not great. I have had this all-in-one for two weeks. The print and scan quality seems to be good, but the GUI is a disappointment. The scanner often gets the aspect ratio for the scanned documents wrong and there is no way to adjust it. In many cases this results in excess white space, which can at least be corrected with third party software. However it also results in images that are truncated or cropped inappropriately and cannot be adjusted. Additionally, the only options for adjusting scan resolutions are low, medium, and, high. I would not recommend this machine for anything more than the most basic needs.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great All-in-One Printer I just got this printer and am very pleased with it. Very light assembly required (approx. 10 minutes). The printer is very sleek and stylish. It fits very well on the printer shelf in my home office. Wireless setup was easy. Scanning/copying worked great. Print quality was VERY good. Very easy to use/straight-forward. My friend who is notoriously computer/tech illiterate found it quite easy to use. Easy to scan to cloud, which for me was a must-have feature. Downside- Paper Tray is small and hard to access. I would definitely recommend this product. I am very happy with it and it will make a good fit for my home office.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A Solid Printer So Far I realy like the Automatic On/Off function. The Auto Functions have a lot of power and also extend the life of the printhead as it parks when powered off. The Auto-power feature even works wirelessly. It has Autoscan, automatic detection of photos or documents (or both) and saves them automatically as images or PDFs. If you have photos on a background (like posterboard) then it will dectect a document so you must manually select photo (color or black and white). It has up to 600 dpi resolution on scans and nice color. You can also print from a smart phone after downloading the free canon app and pairing the phone via NFC to the printer..

Rated 2 out of 5 by from OK printer, lousy software This was my first Canon printer after years of HP printers. The HP printers are fabulous but slow and this printer was supposed to be good with pictures. It prints quickly with good colors-if you can get it to print. At least once every other week, I am forced to uninstall and reinstall it to get it to print. I frequently get the error code "being used by another printer". I have tried everything but the only thing that works is to completely remove the printer and driver and reinstall them. I generally lose about 30 minutes of time trying different things before resorting to this. For that reason I can't recommend it.
