I have an Induro monopod and I'm trying to fit a RRS monopod head on an Induro monopod, what do I need?
Asked by: Erin
Most camera and accessories use a standard 1/4 x 20 thread. The monopod should have a male thread and head should have female so they should just bolt up. The induro head uses a 3/8 x16 thread but comes with the adapter to use the 1/4 x 20 thread also.

What the difference between 1/4 and 3/8 fixed screw between RRS heads & Induro monopods?
Asked by: Erin
1/4"-20 threads are meant for mounting cameras and small accessories, where as 3/8"-16 threads are meant for tripods, heads, and larger devices. In this case, your Induro monopods come with a reversible mounting screw. Simply use the correct side (1/4"-20 is for cameras and the wider 3/8"-16 is for heads) and your RRS head (along with 99% of tripod heads) will mount without issue.

question

Will this fit on Vangurad Veo 2 235CB tripod?
Asked by: Dhiraj J.
As the head on the Vanguard VEO 2 235CB Carbon Fiber Tripod is replaceable and uses a standard 3/8 -16 male tripod screw, yes, you may connect the Induro BHD2 Ball Head, B&H # INBALLHD2, to the center column on the tripod. However, do note that due to the design of the tripod that has the legs fold over the head in its closed position for storage purposes, the Induro BHD2 Ball Head may not allow the tripod legs to close completely. While we cannot test this combination for you, the head would fit, though you should be aware of the above caveat.

Does BHD2 have a built in level?
Asked by: kathy
As John D. said, NO it doesn't. The tripod have one (like Induro CLT204, etc) but not the ball head.

question

If the ball head comes with a slide in camera quick release plate why order the PU-60 slide in Quick release plate?
Asked by: Steve
It is not a necessary accessory. It is listed in case you want more than one. Many do if they have more than one camera body or if they have lost the plate.
