Quickly and easily extend the reach of your network with the Bonded MoCA 2.0 Network Adapter from Actiontec. MoCA or, Multimedia over Coax Alliance, is a home networking technology in which you can use coaxial wiring to distribute your network connection. With this adapter you can transmit your network signal through your home's coaxial cable, virtually eliminating the need to run additional Ethernet wiring as well as reducing the strain put on Wi-Fi networks. Simply attach the adapter to your home's coaxial outlet, plug the adapter into your router, smart TV, game console, or other Ethernet enabled device, and plug the adapter into an electrical outlet. In addition to distributing your network connection, this bonded MoCA adapter features a dedicated coax connector with support for OTT (over-the-top) content to deliver audio, video, and other media content.

question
How many of these would I need if I wanted this setup? TWC modem on first floor (I only have internet service), where the Motorola ARRIS modem is (and Airport Extreme router). It is also where the main coax lines run to master, loft, and bedroom. Would I need a set (2) of these to get to each room? Or can one MOCA adapter be connected to router, then split 3 ways with a MOCA adapter in each room? Appreciate your advice.
you need 4

question
Can these units be daisy chained? Ie, I have one coax coming to a particular room and I want to have two of these units in the room without a splitter. Can I connect the second one to the second coax connection on the first one?
Not sure what your needs are. I don't think you can daisy chain these. Nor should you need to. If you need more Ethernet/LAN ports (to connect more devices at one room/location) you can connect the RJ45 cable from the Coax Bridge into a Network/Ethernet switch (they come in multiple port options, 4, 6, 8, 12 etc) used to expand the number of ports and then connect the other devices directly into the ports on the switch. This would also be cheaper as switches are much cheaper than this Coaxial BRIDGE device. Hope my comments are helpful. Good Luck
