SilverStone SG13B-Q overview

  • 1Description

The Sugo SG13B-Q Mini-Tower Case from SilverStone is a small case that supports Mini-DTX and Mini-ITX motherboards. Due to its compact size, this case does not have any room for optical drives, and it can only fit storage configurations of either one 3.5" and one 2.5" drive or three 2.5" drives. Users who are looking to install larger or longer components should note that the SG13 can fit expansion cards up to 10.5" long and 5.11" wide as well as CPU coolers up to 2.4" tall.

Even with the limited space, you can install an all-in-one liquid CPU cooler in the 120/140mm fan slot. Installing a larger 140mm radiator or fan requires removing the upper drive cage, shrinking the available room for a graphics card to 9.3” (minus the thickness of the radiator). Silverstone recommends using a 140mm PSU due to varying connector locations on PSUs and the unique structure of SG13.

  • Supports standard-length expansion cards of 10.5 inches
  • Supports Mini-DTX / Mini-ITX motherboards and ATX PSUs
  • Supports 120mm or 140mm single fan all-in-one liquid coolers
  • Over-sized vents for heat dissipation
  • Elevated standoff for motherboard back side components

    SilverStone SG13B-Q reviews

    Sugo SG13B-Q Mini-Tower Case is rated 4.5 out of 5 by 4.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best itx case I've built in This case is adorable. While I do recommend an sfx power supply, this case supports a full ATX power supply, and if you use external storage, all you need is a single 2.5 inch drive for boot and you're set to use whatever enormous internals you'd like. One thing to note, a 120mm fan is required if you have a nice long graphics card, as a 140 gets in the way.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Big things really can come in small packages I recently purchased this case to do a ryzen 5 1600 build. The case is way smaller than I was expecting it to be and I was very concerned at first that my graphics card would not fit in the case. My fears were put to rest once I opened up the case. There is nothing inside this case to block the installation of components so full size graphics cards will fit with ease. I gave the case 4 stars because I had originally purchased an ATX power supply because the case is compatible with them. However while installing the components I realized that there just was not enough room in the case for the huge ATX power supply and all the other components while allowing for proper airflow to cool the case. I found a fully modular SFX power supply that came with an ATX bracket adaptor and this has given me significantly more room inside the case. This is a small issue and easy to work around so I would definitely recommend this case for anyone looking to build a powerhouse small computer.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good at this price point Overall a good case. Sheet metal is a little on the thin side but it's very stable when put together. Motherboard standoffs are fixed in place on the bottom of the chassis and one of mine came loose while installing the motherboard. Was able to work around it. You can use a power supply longer than 150mm if not using the 3.5" drive mount. I have a 165mm modular PSU and it fits just fine. Front fan mount can accept 120mm fans. Be aware that 140mm fans may not work as they may block the front USB/Audio ports. The ports barely fit under my 120mm fan I installed. The front panel HD audio cable was just a little short for my motherboard which has the connector near the back I/O panel so the cable has to route in an odd way to reach it. The power supply installs from the top (does not slide through from the back) which makes overall assembly a little trickier. Take your time, plan your install, recognize it's ITX so it may take a few "re-do's" to get it just right, and you'll be very happy with this case.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect! I have built two computers with this case. It's amazing what you can fit inside. It's very nice that you can fit a full size ATX PSU and graphics card inside. I have an H60 in one of them for the CPU. Temps haven't been a problem.
