The natural KA-TEM from Kala is an Exotic Mahogany Series Tenor Ukulele with a rosewood fingerboard and bridge. Fitted with a satin finish and black binding along the edge, it can be used by musicians and students for applications such as rehearsals, recordings, theaters, schools, on live stages, and more.
The KA-TEM ukulele measures 26-3/8" overall in body length. It has an upper bout of 6-3/4", a lower bout of 9", and a waist of 5-1/4". Featuring grain patterns that vary from wavy to curly, flamed to figured, and spotted to straight, and with a 3-1/8" body depth, the instrument provides a full bodied tone. Furthermore, the NuBone XB nut and saddle deliver increased volume and sustained tone, while adding clarity to each note. The built-in chrome die-cast tuners with black buttons ensure the instrument will stay in tune.
Finally, the Tenor Ukulele's rosewood fingerboard has markings on the neck and top at the 5th, 7th, 10th, and 12th positions to help identify its 19 silver nickel fret positions. The instrument is set up with Aquila Nylgut strings.
