The Flute Consort Volume 1 from Spitfire Audio is part of The British Modular Library, an ongoing project to provide composers with the ability to add fine detail and musical expression to their compositions. This volume features three flute players, one recorded solo, two recorded in unison, seated exactly in situ which allows for combining the unison patches with the solo ones for a slightly larger section, whilst maintaining spectral integrity. Moreover, when combined with other BML modules or the Albion range, everything slots together like an orchestral jigsaw puzzle.
The library features multiple round robins, dynamic layers and easily usable, fully functional legato with control over vibrato. Additionally, the samples are presented with numerous microphone positions which can be mixed and blended together to fit a current application, and also automated for dramatic shifts in focus and depth. A full version of KONTAKT 5 is required to utilize this sample library.
