Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nice Pointing Device After software install this worked great. The install was relative pain free for my Win 7 tower and laptop. Adobe Elements 14 recognized it immediately and off I went. There is a learning curve but it does not seem too steep; what worked with my mouse works with the Intous. The active area seems about perfect for me. I am a photography enthusiast; I use it for editing photos I took on an old under powered laptop. It does not seem to be a resource hog in the least, no lag or pause.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from First time user Needed this tablet for graphic design work and photo editing. Makes it SO MUCH easier. Don't know how I did it before. If you're thinking about it, just go for it already.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great little Wacom tablet This Wacom tablet is very lightweight and compact - a great tablet for desktop or for traveling at an affordable price. It took a little body adjustment not to feel cramped from using such a small tablet, and the stylus is lighter weight than my old one. It was an easy plug and play with the software download right out of the box, and seems responsive and working well overall so far.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Small, so far so good I like the size. I had a intuos pro 4. That one is thick with more futures. This one is smaller, thinner, but less futures. I like this with a tint of color difference. I use it as a mouse, because arm issues with the mouse. I also like it, because it's wireless availability. (bought separate :( ). Overall happy.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Working on getting used to it I use this tablet to edit photos and in most ways that anyone would use a mouse (I can't use a mouse anymore because of wrist injury issues). I had an earlier generation tablet (a Wacom Bamboo) but it won't work with my new computer. Neither tablet was terribly easy to get used to, and this one is giving me a little trouble--but it maybe that I don't know enough to configure it properly.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect for Photoshop and Lightroom This is the third Wacom tablet I have owned and I think it is the best. Wacom has improved a device that I thought was near perfect. The design and feature engineering is impressive. The input area is larger and the input buttons are well placed. With the addition of a touch sensor you get the best functionality for all of your interaction with the computer. The tablet has many configurable features. The configuration software can be a little daunting, but the help menu is very helpful. Wacom also has some good videos covering configuration. Take your time and configure it in small steps.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect for what I was looking for Great starter tablet, a little hard to get used to but with a some practice you get the hang of it. Overall makes drawing in illustrator feel closer to drawing with pen and paper.
