Saw @MikeDelGaudio using one of these, and thought to give it a try. Works fantastic on a Senn MKH416, or similar small-diaphragm mic (19-25mm). Very impressive in its simplicity. And of course, B&H had it here in record time! Thanks, B&H!

I heard about this pop filter from friends in the VO industry and I understand why they were raving about it. It fits easily onto a shotgun mic and works beautifully. I get much better sound quality with this filter than the foam windscreen and highly recommend it.

Easy setup and it does the job plus it looks amazing. Small shield allows for better viewing of scripts when I'm reading a Voiceover. Was worth the $130 Australian dollars in total incl shipping.

I love this pop filter. It works very well, when used with good mic placement and technique. No pop filter is 100% effective, but this one comes close. I love that it doesn't block the view of my copy, making it very comfortable to use as well.

This is a great help for anyone transitioning from dynamic or other condenser mics to help you get used to a shotgun for voice over work, especially in close quarters. The small profile of this pop filter really helps by not obscuring your copy.

What is the shock mount setup you are using with your MKH 416 Jerry? I am using Rode desktop boom arm and wanted something like this to give extra versatility.
Asked by: Bill
You can use the Rycote INV-7 InVision Microphone Suspension for Stand and Boompole Mounting (B&H # RYINV7) or the Rycote InVision INV-HG mkIII Microphone Suspension - Lyre Shockmount (B&H # RYINVHGMKIII ) which will both work very well with the Sennheiser MKH 416 and the Hook Studios Octo-842S Front-Address Pop Filter and can be mounted on the Rode PSA1 Studio Boom Arm.

question

Will this fit an MKH 50?
Asked by: Michael
Don't see why not...the MKH 50m is 6mm larger dia. but that shouldn't be a problem for the elastic to go over.
