The Fresnel is creating a very narrow beam of light as specified. Works well. This unit will get very hot when the light is set at full power for a long time. There is a label warning you - pay attention to it, thats important, unless you really like nasty burns. Its pretty pricey and should come with a soft bag to protect the unit when not in use.
