Digitize your favorite vinyl records with the cherry Teac TN-100 Belt-Drive Stereo Turntable with Preamp and USB. You'll be able to output to your Windows or Mac computer via the USB port to convert the records to digital audio files. The turntable will also connect to any RCA audio input on a receiver or amplifier with its phono/line level switchable audio output. It includes an RCA audio cable and a USB cable.

Authentic Belt-Drive Turntable
The plastic platter is driven by a DC motor designed for stable rotation. A neoprene rubber mat further reduces vibration. The accuracy of the spindle is maintained by a polished stainless steel spindle and bronze spindle holder.
Composite Wood Construction with Cherry Finish
Unlike other models with plastic chassis, the MDF cabinet minimizes vibrations and resonance for cleaner playback of your vinyl collection.
MM-Type Cartridge Phono Equalizer & Amplifier
Enjoy vinyl playback with any amplifier. The TN-100 supports both phono and line output that allows you to play vinyl with or without phono equalizer.
Built-In USB Digital Output and Analog Phono/Line Output
The TI-made A/D converter allows you to transfer music via USB to your computer and digitize your vinyl collection. Protect your vinyl records from damage caused by playback, and enjoy your music library on mobile devices. A pair of RCA connectors are employed for conventional connections with either line or phono inputs on your amplifier.
Static Balanced Straight Type Tone Arm
A straight tone arm has been used for tracking accuracy. The anti-skating mechanism is designed to ensure accurate tracking of phonograph records.
Three-Speed Turntable with Auto-Return
The TN-100 can play both LP and EP records. The manual arm lifter is designed to ensure seamless analog playback.

    Teac TN-100 reviews

TN-100 Belt-Drive Stereo Turntable with Preamp and USB (Cherry) is rated 4.4 out of 5 by 5.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Solid, basic unit I bought this turntable to hook up to a component system. A really, really old system: a 40-year-old Harmon Kardon 15wpc receiver, with 30-year-old Polk Audio bookshelf speakers. I also got a Sony 5-disc carousel CD player from B&H to round out the system. I just got tired of listening to compressed music from my iPod and completely neglecting my vinyl. The turntable is a solid, basic belt-drive turntable. The tone arm is well-balanced, with a better-than-average needle. I'm happy with the sound, although I wouldn't put myself forward as the final authority on this, having lost significant hearing in my right ear. The unit has a couple of features I don't need. It has its own preamp, which can be turned on so it can be used with powered speakers if they have an input jack. (The unit does NOT have Bluetooth capability--you MUST connect to speakers by cable.) The preamp can be turned off to hook it up to a receiver, as I have done. The turntable also has a USB port, for transferring vinyl to your computer...BUT it comes with NO USB cable and NO software. If you are getting a turntable specifically for transferring vinyl to your computer, this is compatible with Mac and Windows. I suggest going to the TEAC website to find out about needed software. There is free software, like Audacity, out there, but you may be able to use iTunes or whatever Windows' equivalent is. I haven't checked. Many turntables out there now have preamps that CAN'T be turned off, and thus can't be used with a component system (I found this out the hard way with an Ion turntable. Four new fuses later, all is well.) If you are looking for a good, entry-level turntable with a little style and the flexibility to do more than one thing, I recommend this one before the others in its price range. And--it came well-packed by B&H inside a separate shipping box.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Pretty Good The TEAC turntable plays my old records well. It plays 33 1/3/78/45 speed records and can connect by USB to my computer to digitize records. I wish that it would return the tone arm at the end of playing a record but for the price it's a good turntable.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good Buy This is an excellent product for anyone wanting to convert vinyl to digital recordings. By surfing several local vinyl record shops, have scored some very important jazz titles that have yet to be digitally re-mastered. Note to potential buyers: make sure you have a suitable re-mastering software platform if you plan to convert via the USB to computer route.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great turntable for the price I bought this to work with a sonos 5 and it works beautifully. I previously had an ION and it is so much better. Nice full sound quality. For the price it can't be beat.
