The Voigtlander LH-9 Lens Hood for 35mm f/1.7 Ultron Lens (Silver) is just a lens hood.
It is not designed to prevent dust from getting to the lens.
Dust can come through the openings on the hood.

According to Voigtlander's website, the Voigtlander LH-9 Lens Hood is only compatible for use with the Voigtlander Ultron 35mm f/1.7 Aspherical Lens. It would not be compatible for use with the Voigtlander Nokton 50mm f/1.5 Aspherical Lens.

Can you use a UV filter with this lens?. I have all my lenses with B+W 007 on them. Many thanks.
This hood uses a threaded mount. If you use the filter first you should be able to use them together.

is this hood can be fit on Voigtlander 35mm/f1.2 version ll ?
As should be evident from the photograph, this hood clamps to the exterior of the lens barrel. I'm assuming that since the filter for the f1.2 is 52mm vs 46 for the f1.7, the barrel diameters are accordingly different, and this hood won't fit the f1.2 lens.
