question
Is this HDD compatible with a MacPro 3,1 running Mac OS X 10.10.X? Specifically are mounting screw positions compatible with a MacPro sled ? Many Thanks in advance.
This drive (and many others above 5 TB) do NOT use the standard mounting hole pattern. There is an accessory Mac Pro sled available that will accommodate this drive style and is inexpensive to mount it properly.

question
Whats the best way to setup 4 of the drives in a Home Server NAS for photographer? To get fastest and most space? (My default options are Parity vs Mirror)
Parity gives you most space and fastest throughput.

question
Is it supposed to be this loud when writing? I can hear it over the TV crunching away. It sounds like there is a mouse inside banging on the wall with a stick or doing some light construction. I have the 5TB.
All spinning drives do make some noise and often it does sound like crunching. My 5TB drive is in a raid of four drives not all of which are Toshiba and there is noise coming out of the unit from all of them spinning. That being said it shouldn't be so loud as to sound mechanically breaking. A drive failing can sound like something clicking very loudly and having a hard time starting to spin. Is this how your's sounds?

question
Is this drive compatable with a CRU DataPort RTX220-3QR RAID storage enclosure?
I have no idea but I am using 2 of them in WD EX2 in RAID 0 just fine. It should work everywhere.
