question

Will it work with the Canon 430 ex iii rt ?
Asked by: Anonymous
Technically it can work. It has not been tested by the manufacture. The one thing to note is one of them will need to be attached to the flash and the other will be used on the camera as a transmitter. The 430ex III RT flash has a receiver built in and that will work with the Yongnuo Wireless Speedlite Transmitter for Canon, B&H # YOYNE3RT MFR # YN-E3-RT or the Canon ST-E3-RT Speedlite Transmitter. This way you do not need to attach a receiver to the flash. And this transmitter has many other features especially when used with more than one off camera flash.

question

I have two YN685 speed lights, one for Canon and one for Nikon. Will these transceivers control both using my YN622 (for Canon) transmitter, in TTL mode?
Asked by: James
Unfortunately, using the YN 685 for Nikon will the YN622C II Transceiver for Canon will not allow for TTL to be used, due to the different pin configuration on the flash from the receiver.

question

Will this model work with the HSS in wireless function? Or it has to be conected to the camera?
Asked by: Mauricio
One will need to be on camera to act as a transmitter. If you are using a flash on the other unit it will need to be a HSS compatible flash. If you are using it to trigger studio strobes through the pc port of the receiver you will still need one on the hotshoe of a Canon camera to be able to sync the shutter with the strobes. This method is called hyper sync. (as mentioned previously by a user for Alien bees)

YONGNUO YN622C II E-TTL doesn't save settings. Any time when trigger turns on its switching to Ch 2 instead of saved Ch1.Reset on only works as long as the unit is on. Power cycling takes it back to Ch2 again. Any suggestions? Thank you
Asked by: Victor
According to the manufacturer, the Yongnuo YN-622C II E-TTL Wireless Flash Transceiver for Canon (2-Pack) will automatically save the settings of channel, grouping, flash mode, AF assist beam emitter etc. There is no particular setting that is required to be set in order to save previous settings. If your transceiver is not automatically saving settings, if the unit has been purchased within the last 30 days, you may be able to return it for an exchange or refund. Otherwise, you may wish to contact the manufacturer directly by e-mailing them at [email protected].
