I have been wanting to have this backpack; then I saw it at B&H on sale. You can bring a complete set of your camera plus your laptop. What a convenience.

Why side entering pockets and where the mesh indoor pockets?

This is a thin back pack. Partition depth is 4 so longer lens will lay flat. It works well for my Fuji XT2 kit, my 55-200 lies vertical in the bottom bay. I put my camera with attached lens in the top bay. The dividers are velcroed and changeable, This review is hampered by Cov19 as I have not been out and about as usual. loaded Fuji XT2 with 40mm Artisan TT lens attached in top, has bulky Peaks slide strap with big metal stuff . Bottom camera bay has only lens. 55-200 Fuji, 27 f2.8, 14 f2.8, 18-55 2.8-4,TT Artisan 35 f1.4 and some filters in a leather case. the Laptop/ tablet case is unused, Exterior pockets the dark slash on camera left is not a pocket its vantiy color panel. You have to unzip to get into a pocket which has no mesh or organizers, Im storing 1 extra batt for now. Right side is a duplicate with no mesh or organizers its empty. So this is a bag for photogs that have there stuff in pockets and bags already but I always loved the mesh for its visibility. I am a sometimes photog now and running 4 systems with different bags so visual is good for me. All said this little pack will hold more than my aged back can carry so I think its 4 stars for no mesh but that just me. I do like the unobtrusive to nature color scheme, materials are high quality, I am 5- 8 190ish and could get a good fit to my liking but I am not a backpacker. What I wanted was easy water bottle space for 2 for a short hike less than 2 miles which I thought was the cute dark color panels below the side pockets which are only style but could have well been utility.

Nice bag, good quality , I just wish the top pocket had better dividers. Also my tripod doesn't fit well in the side.

Plenty of room for my kit camera, lenses, and go pro. I really like the padded bottom compartment. It fulfills all my amateur photography needs. I even think I could fit a small drone in there, when I get one.

I absolutely love this back pack.

I love this backpack. For starters it fits my new M1 16 inch MacBook Pro (yes!). More importantly, it is just so well designed. It is small enough that I can take it with me everywhere but so functional that I can also bring everything I need with me. And then I can bring two cameras, filters, and 2 extra lenses with me too. It is just a great bag and I love have two cameras with me at all times as I shoot digital and film so this is perfect. The tripod holder is a nice bonus for the walking around town aspects, but I haven't utilized it as much as I probably will in the future. Totally worth it.

question

Why aren't there any options without a camo lining? Women own dslr's too.
Asked by: Lauren M.
Unfortunately, you would have to direct the above inquiry directly to Manfrotto. While this is most likely the manufacturer's decision (and there are women who do like camouflage), the only bag/case series in Manfrotto's lineup that uses the camouflage liner is the Manfrotto Street series. If you are looking for a similar (though not identical) option, you may wish to view the Manfrotto NX series or Manfrotto Stile series of their bag/case lineup.http://bhpho.to/1UYeVnx http://bhpho.to/1Xsg0dp

Manfrotto doesn't make one that they sell by itself, but Mountainsmith does sell individual rain covers. https://bhpho.to/2qCmI2s

question

Will this bag hold a pro dslr with attached 70-200 (Canon 6d, 70-200 f2.8 II)?
Asked by: Henry
Unfortunately despite a very good design this bag in my opinion is really best suited for a mirrorless system. I'ts vey small and the front pockets are really thin. Pity as if it was 20 percent bigger it would be an excellent day bag. Cheers, Greg
