Yes. If you can mount a flash you can mount the receiver. It has a cold shoe just like a flash.

question

Will this work with Paul Buff CyberCommander? I have several Paul Buff X-800 Monoblocks that I currently fire with the CyberCommander, but I am wanting to add some Canon 580 Speedlights to the mix. Can I mount this Phottix trigger to the hot shoe on my Canon 5D4 to trigger the Speedlights and then mount my CyberCommander on top of this trigger to fire my studio strobes as usual?
Asked by: John
B&H does not carry Paul C. Buff items and do not sell the Paul C. Buff Cyber Commander. While I am not familiar with the Paul C. Buff Cyber Commander, most manufacturer's radio remote triggers are only compatible with their own brand's remote as the radio signal is often proprietary to the manufacturer (and some remotes in a manufacturer's lineup may only be compatible with a specific model in their lineup) unless expressly stated by the manufacturer. Phottix does not state that the Phottix Lasso is designed for use with the Cyber Commander, and as such, I do not think the two items would be compatible. If you wish to use Phottix remotes, you would have to use all Phottix transmitters/receivers for all flashes, and set the flash output manually on all devices. If you plan to use the Paul C. Buff Cyber Commander, you would have to use all Paul C. Buff radio remotes, and you would have to contact Paul C. Buff directly to inquire which remotes may work for your planned usage needs.

Can you "CONTROL" ” (i.e. change mode TTL vs Manual or change the ration, or use it in a group) the 550EX with the Laso trigger/receiver??? There are a few answers here which write as follows FrancisK “it works perfectly”, DonaldH “paired perfectly and effortlessly”, and PhilB “compatible with Canon 550EX”. But no one has stated if they were able to “CONTROL” the 550EX with the Laso trigger. As I review these comments it get the sense these guys can fire the 550EX, but I don’t get the sense that they are “Controlling” it with the Laso. I would much appreciate, if someone could elaborate further.

question

Will the Laso system work with other Phottix flash triggering systems or Mitros+ flashes, or is this only for Canon?
Asked by: Anonymous
Don't really know. I also have the Phottix Odin triggers which WILL work with the Mitros flashes. I'd check on Phottix' site and see what they say.

question

will this control the Metz 58AF2 for Canon? ETTL and power-ratio?
Asked by: Steve B.
Sorry for the delay. We are looking to obtain a 58AF2 for testing. The adventure of all manufactures who make accessories to fit a brand flash is that you get NO help from the brand flash maker. So you have to reverse engineer the program. Some accessory companies are good at it. Some not so good. It is possible to have A flash that is compatible (enough) to work with the Canon system that has a few bugs in it. And not have it work with a competing product, like the Laso, is a possibility. Hope to have a flash next week to test.
