I've had the monitor for about two weeks now and haven't used it to it's full potential yet, but for what I see, it's a good buy and excellent for the price.

Good, but with one caveat

Overall, I'm happy with this monitor, except for one thing. The zebra settings cannot be adjusted. It seems to be fixed at 70%, and I prefer a higher setting. So I still have to refer to my camcorder's monitor for checking exposure, which is annoying.

Very good low budget monitor

If you are a broke filmmaker, and you need a decent monitor, this is the one to get. It is very simple to use, and has a pretty clear picture quality. You may have to mess with the settings for a little bit, if you're nitpicky. With all that being said, it is not able to stand to smallhd or ninja monitor quality. The screen is a teensy bit hazy but not unusable. The actual amount of screen being used in the monitor is only about 60% the surrounding area is just black. But it is much better than looking at a 2-3 inch screen. I use it mainly on the dji ronin-m and it works perfectly for that, I can see what I'm shooting and that's what's important. The resolution is definitely enough, you don't need a full HD monitor if your just starting out. The price is very reasonable as well. It's hard to beat. In conclusion, it's simple, works great, looks good, and light weight

I have this monitor mounted on a Sony NX5R camera. It has a great picture. I had trouble with feedback from the speaker until I turned the volume off. Good monitor at a good price.

This is a very nice and easy to use monitor with lots of features. I'm only giving it 4 stars because the provided mount is totally useless. I gave up trying to keep it in place halfway through my first shoot. Fortunately I had one with my LED light kit, which work a lot better but I will be purchasing a better one soon. I recommend buying it for the quality and the features, but be prepared to buy a mount separately at the time of purchase.

question

Does this monitor have HDMI out also so you can also send a signal to a stream?
Asked by: Scott
This monitor does not have an HDMI output, it only has an input. However we do have options for 7 On-Camera Monitors from companies like Elvid, Ikan and FeelWorld that do.

question

This product says that it supports up to 1080P and 1080i But if one were to record on their camera in 4k or higher, will the monitor not show an image, Or will the monitor just show the highest resolution image it can?
Asked by: Anonymous
This monitor cannot down convert a 4K signal therefore there will not be any image. There is no economical way to play 4K on this monitor. Hopefully the camera you have has an HD HDMI out and you can then use this monitor. Most entry level 4K cameras do it this way by default.

question

Does this come with a battery?
Asked by: Jeff M.
No it does not. And make sure you purchase the right one. Although it does come with an attachment you can install yourself in order to use a DSLR battery.
