This 21mm f/1.4 lens is designed for Micro Four Thirds mirrorless cameras and provides a 42mm equivalent focal length.
Bright f/1.4 maximum aperture is ideal for working in low-light conditions and also offers greater control over your focus position for selective focus applications.
One extra-low dispersion element and three aspherical elements are incorporated within the lens design and help to control chromatic and comatic aberrations, as well as reduce color fringing, for sharper, clearer imagery.
An Ultra Multi-Coating has been applied to all lens elements in order to suppress lens flare and ghosting for increased contrast and color accuracy.
This manual focus lens has a non-rotating 58mm front filter mount to better enable the use of polarizing, graduated ND, and other filter types that require precise positioning. Additionally, its internal focus design maintains the overall length of the lens during use.
Rounded nine-blade diaphragm contributes to a pleasing out-of-focus quality when using selective focus or shallow depth of field techniques.

It says, "APS-C Format" and "31.5mm (35mm Equivalent)" Does that mean on a full frame camera, such as the a7ii that this would be look identical to a 35mm focal length and not a 21mm?
Asked by: Aidan
This APS-C lens will push the camera into a crop mode that will give you a 31.5mm field of view.

It is a sharp lens, it can lend itself to some great video, if that is how you choose to use it.

question

Is the focus a 'focus by wire' system, or a mechanical focus?
Asked by: Porter C.
It's a manual focus lens but it's very easy to focus if your camera has focus peaking feature. Setting the focus distance to infinity and aperture f8 everything over 3m will be tack sharp.

question

So if this was used on the gh4 it would be a 42 mm lens because of it being a micro 4/3 cropped sensor?
Asked by: andrew g.
Yes, while it is a 21mm lens, it has a field of view of a 42mm lens (in terms of 35mm photography).

Asked by: andrew g.

Asked by: Anonymous
As far as I know. Be aware that's it's kind of a mediocre lens. You're better off with a Sigma 20mm.
