Rated 3 out of 5 by from LED Flashlight doesn't work I certainly didn't buy this for the flashlight, but it's nice when something works as advertised when you first open it. I shot a power unit extremely similar to one of these for a client, so I know they are just unique housings made to go over generic batteries mass-produced in China, but if you're going to add bells and whistles to differentiate yourself, you should make sure the bells ring and the whistles whistle. Otherwise, it does charge my phone, and it's too expensive to return, so I'll just do without the flashlight feature. Shame, because this lives in my camera bag and was supposed to be my flashlight for digging through it in the dark.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from About the size of a Smartphone Nice concept that come in all sizes and shapes these days. This is about the size of my iPhone 6 and twice as thick. It has plenty of power and I thought is would be a great gift for people to keep in their car. Turns out most people really only see the value if you are away from the car or an AC outlet. The other day, I found myself with a dead phone while I was starting to play 18 holes of golf. I was expecting an important call. With no time at all to charge my phone from my car, I grabbed this from the glove compartment and connected to my phone. It began charging immediately. So, I put my iPhone in on back pocket and the power pack in the other and played as normal. After the first few holes, it had a good charge and I removed the power pack and continued on with my charged phone in my pocket. You never know when you will have to leave immediately with a dead phone without a way to charge it. Great little insurance policy for getting stuck somewhere out of touch.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from A little disappointed I'm glad I didn't review this right away (which never makes any sense). We bought this with high hopes. After a brief period of use (3 months), the LED indicators no longer work, though the device can be fully charged, and does hold a charge. And the flashlight, a nice feature, works fine. Also, the Micro-USB cable broke somehow on both ends. It stopped working as well. I had to replace it with nother cable. Fortunately, there's a limited one-year warranty. Will be contacting the company shortly for a relacement.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Took to MET Opera to charge new iPhone 7-plus Picked up the new iPhone 7 plus that morning, and didn't have it fully charged when I got to the Saturday matinee performance of Manon Lescaut. Wanted to take LOTS of photos of Anna Netrebko and some video that day, especially at curtain call. It was fully charged before Manon left the train station! Feels solid and heavy. Feels like a quality product. I have nothing to compare it to. Just got that particular power pack because it was deal of the day, or a deal anyway. I am happy with it. It is presentable: when you go through the ticket takers at the Met, somebody takes a look into your handbag. The man who peered into mine didn't seem to think it posed any kind of threat.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great backup to have I am a professional photographer and use my ipad for preview with my customers. I also use other 5 volt devices. It love having this as insurance. However on the assignments I did, I was able to use a smaller one of 2200 (a cheap one) and it was able to handle what I needed. But I was able to use it and experiment with it. It is too early to give 5 stars but it seems to deserve at least 4. A real test would be over time. But so far, so good. I would recommend something like this if you cannot afford to be without power. It is good size, maybe about that of a large cell phone but twice as thick.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Overweight and underpowered This hefty power bank weighs in at nearly 1 pound. Think about it. If you really need the power, you could easily get twice the power for the same weight. If you're after a portable charger to top up your portable devices, you could get a super cheap 5000mAh charger that's 4 ounces. This one just feels clunky and dated. I had to return it because the charging is very slow. It's advertised at 2A output, but the speed was the same (maybe even slower) as charging via a computer USB port (0.5A). Not acceptable. I replaced it with a lightweight 5000mAh charger that actually charges fast, for $7.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good with weird timing I use this to power little tiny LED light strips on a shirt I designed for a film. it's only happened twice but sometime's it'll (surge I guess) and the green light will go dim and it makes my lights go dim. If i unplug and plug it back in the lights won't turn back on. My solution being I would have to go to my charger, (If I was lucky enough to remember to have it on me) and plug the charger into the battery and it reboots the battery. I can unplug it immediately after plugging it in and it would be working back to normal again. Other than that, the battery actually holds out for quite a while. Once it lasted me a little over 8 hours with the constant drainage from the led's #sweepstakes

Rated 4 out of 5 by from I recommend this Portable Power Pack The charger works well! I was able to charge my iPhone 6 six times with the portable power pack full charge. Its a great back up power when your on the go and no other way to charge your phone. It took about 4 plus hours to fully charge this pack. There is a light indicator showing you how much charge is remaining.
