question

compare to the Panasonic AW-HE40SK, does the eu70 give the same zoom length in hd mode?
Asked by: .
Since they both have the same size sensors, the AW-HE40SK wins with its 30x zoom over the AW-UE70 with its 20x zoom.

question

I'm interested in the zoom modes that go beyond the optical range; iA zoom 22x (4K mode) / 30x (HD); digital extender (1.4x, 2.0x, 4.0x, 6.0x, 8.0x) Are they usable?
Asked by: Jason J.
We have not tested this ourselves nor have we seen video available. However we are of the opinion that today's digital zooms are perfectly, even amazingly, useful. That is because 4K sensors, even when cropped, still provide HD quality. We feel that the digital extender on the AW-UE70 will provide more than usable content.

question

does the panasonic eu70 ptz camera give better results in low light conditions and with colours then the Panasonic AW-HE40SK give? it's seems that they both have the same image sensor.
Asked by: .
There is no known direct comparison of these two cameras. That being said, since the sensors are the same size, the HD sensor of the AW-HE40SK will have larger pixels than the AW-UE70 and possibly better low light response. Keep in mind both cameras have Night Mode allowing IR or Infrared (no color) recording.

question

in 1080 is it able to gave simultaneous outputs
Asked by: Shahed E.
The camera can output multiple formats at once. However, it depends on the configuration. 4K is more restrictive while multiple lower rez outputs are possible. You should consult with your installer.

question

Im curious to know if the focus on this camera is any better then the AW-HE130? Had that camera on demo liked everything expect the focus both manual and auto. Using in a church situation could not for the life of me get it to focus on the preacher. everything in the background would be nice and crisp expect the preacher tired it in both manual and auto.
Asked by: Anonymous
This camera will focus as expected. The AW-HE130 you had should have as well. It seems that camera had a service issue, I.E. it needed repair.

question

What light levels are necessary for broadcast-quality HD video? I'm assuming this is higher than the rated minimum lux?
Asked by: David Y.
It is a good practice to have light levels that are higher than the minimum lux on any camera. It is tough to say what are the true light levels needed for any camera though. What we can say is that PTZs are designed to be placed in places where there will be lights or the ability to control and add lights. Conference room, churches, auditoriums and studios are the popular places that these cameras will be used. If you plan on shooting in 4k you will want to be very well lit situations as well. question

Are there an online video samples available?
Asked by: David Y.
While we do not have any specific sample videos available for this camera they may be out there. Our suggestion would be to do a search for the AW-UE70 on sites like Youtube and Vimeo to see if any users have posted clips.
