The Lexar Professional Workflow CFR1 Card Reader is a USB 3.0 reader designed for use within the Lexar Professional Workflow HR1 or HR2 Hubs. The compact form fits within one of the four bays of the HR1 Hub to enable its use along with up to three additional Professional Workflow Card Readers. Alternatively, this reader can be used independently of the hub as a standalone reader along with the included USB cable. This reader is designed for use with CompactFlash UDMA 7 memory cards and supports USB 3.0 transfer speeds up to 5 Gb/s.

What connector is the USB cord? Mine is a LONG one and I need to buy 2 short (1-1.5 feet) so they are close to my laptop.

Will this reader work with 128GB Professional 3500x CFast 2.0 Memory Card?
This reader will not work for CFast Cards of any type. This is for CompactFlash Cards. They do offer a CFast reader however and we use them for any and all types of CFast cards.

Yes; while designed for the faster UDMA-7 cards, the Lexar Professional Workflow CFR1 Card Reader for CompactFlash Cards is compatible with all CompactFlash Type I memory cards, regardless of their read/write speed.

How long is the usb cord that comes with it?
Not super long but long enough. I use it with my laptop when I travel, otherwise it's in a dock with 3 other readers. Hope this helps.
