Lexar Workflow CR2 Reviews
Thunderbolt 2, not 3
I've been looking everywhere for a reliable Thunderbolt 3 CFast reader, and thought I'd found one. I should've been suspicious when it didn't show an image of the back ports. But it was late, I'm overworked, and I didn't read the specs thoroughly. This is a thunderbolt 2 reader. I wasted my money, and I'm bummed. Don't buy this if you want a thunderbolt 3 reader.
Didn't get to use
I have to return this as it was for the CFast card that said it was compatible with my camera, however it is not.
Fast data handling for cfast cards
For fast download of cfast 2 cards. Never a card mounting or overheating problem with Lexar readers
Fast and recommended.

Great Product! Recommend it!
Great Lexar Reader. One of many I have already. But this is my first FastC Reader. Works great!
I have another USB 3.0 Reader that is pretty fast. This, with Thunderbolt is faster. In fact I can edit my Ursa Mini 4.6K Raw files right from the card using this reader. With this reader the read/write rates on my CFast 2.0 cards are faster than any of my other drives, including my SSD Thunderbolt drives!
Works nicely on Thunderbolt 2
I use this card reader on the Thunderbolt 2 port of my 2013 Mac Pro. Fast transfers to my RAID. I can play 6K compressed RAW footage directly from the card using the Blackmagic player utility. Have not tried the USB-C connection.
Does the job
Purchased this updated reader after reports that the CR1 version had issues. Very happy with the updated version.
