What big of a difference is the 99% vs 98% filter? Is there enough of a difference optically to justify the price difference?
The Chiaro Pro 49mm 99-UVBTS Brass UV Filter has a rim made of brass. It doesn't bind and jam as easily on the lens as the aluminum rim that comes with the Chiaro Pro 49mm 98-UVATS UV Filter. The 99% filter allows more light transmission also has a name brand glass from Schott. The price difference is justified for the better quality brass rim that does not bind.
