    HP Envy 4520 reviews

ENVY 4520 All-in-One Inkjet Printer is rated 4.0 out of 5 by 337.
Rated 2 out of 5 by from Good off and on, annoying overall This printer worked great for a while and then stopped cooperating. It would give me notifications that the printer wasn't available all the time and refused to print. I decided to call HP customer service and they simply told my my wifi wasn't fast enough and told me to talk to my internet company instead.... Instead I moved it closer to my router and it was fine for a while. A couple weeks later it gives me notifications about a printer system problem and will print long documents fine for a couple pages and then just quit in the middle of the job. Don't buy unless you want to be really annoyed any time you print.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Nice but limited Nice little printer, easy to set up wireless. Photo print black & White is darker than I like but again this is not a Professional photo printer. Only issue I notice is needing to print from a letter size to a 4X6 print; I need to switch paper since there is only one tray for loading. One MUST set up the paper size in the machine not in the apps which finding it troublesome. If you dont mind changing the paper size each time and reprogram in the machine, you are ok. Price is right, inks not expensive since there are only Two ink cartridges not like Epson with more color which leads to more cost. Not a bad printer, oh yes it does not do fax!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from THIS SUCKS!! I got this printer as a present for my mom for Christmas. She needed a new printer, and this printer looked very cool; especially for it's price. It had easy setup and use which was good for her. I got everything setup, and was on the last step; wireless setup. We didn't want to use a cable, so all we had to do was enter her Wi-Fi password into the printer. That's when disaster struck. I literally spent 1 hour trying to enter in the password but with the weird system and the fact that whenever I was at the last few letters, it would unexpectedly restart. I DO NOT recommend this printer to ANYONE at all.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Junk Unfortunately, I bought 2 of the exact same model while they were on sale. I bought one for home and one for my classroom. WHAT A MISTAKE! The first one lasted less than a month. I have HP Instant Ink and the ink blew up in the printer. HP explained that there was NOTHING that they could do except offer me a replacement printer that I would need to pay for. Second printer continually jams up and prints inconsistently. The papers come out wrinkled all throughout the middle and the edges! Not a happy customer with this printer although I have been VERY satisfied with HP customer support in all other regards! DO NOT waste your $$!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Worst printer ever Bought this thing nearly a year ago and I have successfully been able to print literally 5 times. Right now I'm trying to print off some tickets but for the last 40 minutes no luck. I have to totally unplug it every time just to get the wireless to connect. This thing is so flawed. I never write reviews but I truly want to warn you not to waste your money but more importantly the countless hours of troubleshooting you will inherit with this product.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from So glad I chose this printer it's just what I need The printer was so easy to set up and so easy to use. It's half the size of my last printer plus it has more options. I'm very pleased with my new printer. It's Amazing!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Will not function So I bought this for college as I needed a printer and this was supposedly the best model I could get for the price. I'ts a very nice printer, but after about 15 hours of struggling with it I have yet to get it to print a single thing. Update drivers? Nothing. Reinstall? Nothing. Reboot? Nothing. Buy USB cable? Nothing. Full system restore of windows because it might work? Still not a page. Customer support bounced me between several call centers before telling me 'oh, just use a usb cable if it doesn't work wireless.' It would be a great product if it could perhaps do what it was designed to do.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Never, ever, ever again This is my second HP printer, and the second mistake I've made in buying printers. I figured a new one would solve my problems. Definitely not.... Gives me trouble every time I hit "print." Will not recognize that there is paper in the tray, no matter what. Will not work wirelessly, even if you reset everything three times. Piano black and a touchscreen are probably the stupidest combinations ever.... For how nice my HP laptop was, it truly is impressive how bad both of my HP printers have been. For two products to completely avert their intended purpose while maximizing frustration... That takes effort. Well done indeed.
