The components within this Triggertrap Kit from B&H allow a smartphone or tablet to connect with cameras featuring the Nikon DC0 connection so that advanced triggering setups can be easily created. Additionally, an adapter is included to enable similar functionality with flashes or strobes.

A smartphone or tablet can be used with the included Triggertrap Mobile Kit, which provides a cable for working with Nikon, Fujifilm, or Kodak cameras featuring the Nikon DC0 connection. This system allows users to quickly and easily connect their cameras to their smart device and work directly with the Triggertrap Mobile App for iOS or Android. It offers a variety of different sensor triggering options, such as sound and vibration, time lapse modes, HDR imaging capabilities, and standard cable release settings.

Sensor modes allow the Triggertrap to set off a camera with an event, such as a noise, vibration, motion, or facial recognition. HDR settings are possible with long exposures as well as time lapse. Time lapse settings offer a variety of advanced controls for ramping and accelerating capture. Additionally, it has a simple cable release mode for standard triggering options.

On top of these features, the app has a Solar Calculator for determining the sunrise and sunset in one's area as well as an ND Filter Calculator for managing exposure, ensuring a filter with an appropriate density is used. Additionally, one device can be set over Wi-Fi as a master unit and can trigger slaves simultaneously. Wearables, such as the Apple Watch and Android Wear devices, can also now be used to set off the trigger of the camera.

Trip a flash with the advanced controls provided by the Triggertrap Mobile App for iOS, and an iOS device with the Triggertrap Flash Adapter. It offers two hot shoe mounts and a cable for connecting to the included Mobile Dongle. The app then offers a programmable pulse length and sensor rest delay settings for complete control over the flash's firing. It also can use the variety of triggering methods available to the Triggertrap app and it has a 1/4"-20 thread for mounting.
