It's always nice to use a Sony brand accessory with my new camera. The only draw back, you pay a premium for the product. Is it worth it, for me, yes. It brings up a value of my camera. There is definitely quality with the case.

I had the same case for the a-6000 and it is well worth the additional cost over the generic brands. It affords good protection .

Very well made and solid case. Excellent leather and stitching. Fine fit in all areas except main grip however easily resolved with double sided tape. It's a keeper and should protect the bottom, front and sides for a long time.

I had a body jacket for an older Sony that frequently had to be taken off, and they've made improvements since then to ensure it's easier to use (a flap to access the battery, a tripod screw built in). While I appreciate that there is a flap for the battery I find myself just taking the jacket off when charging anyways. There's also slight gapping at the grip, which for larger hands won't be noticeable much but it just makes me second guess my grip when picking up my camera. I wouldn't buy it again, but I don't dislike it enough to say it's all bad or send it back.

Excellent product, fits like a glove and gives the camera a different personality. Leather used provides extra grip to the camera. win-win situation.

I have both, which I use on my A7RII.The Sony A7RII Battery Grip is not designed to fit on this camera, when the Leather Body Jacket Case is installed on the camera; it is either the former or the latter.I use one or the other, depending on whether I need just a better grip, or an extra battery plus a better grip which is accomplished with the Battery Grip accessory - with a bit extra weight, though.
