Designed for low-light performance, ease-of-use, and durability on the trail or in the water, Opticron's black 8x56 T3 Trailfinder Binocular features large objective lenses that draw in copious amounts of light, allowing their use from dawn to dusk. The large lenses are anti-reflection and fully multi-coated to limit light loss and increase color rendition and contrast. The BAK4 roof prisms are phase-corrected to further improve color and contrast. This combination of large lenses and coatings produce high-contrast images that are bright and clear with minimal distortion. By keeping the magnification to 8x, Opticron was able to ensure brighter images while limiting visible hand-shake or sea-roll disorientation - common with high-power optics.
Complementing the optical performance is a sturdy and durable chassis wrapped in a slip-resistant black rubber armor. The optical tubes are nitrogen-filled and O-ring sealed for water and fogproof performance - especially when moving between extreme temperature changes in high-humidity conditions. Twist-eye cups ensure easy use with or without eyewear and a fast-focus center focusing wheel allows fast transition from subject to subject or to track moving objects.
