Transfer files from your SD, microSD, Memory Stick, or CompactFlash card to your Windows, Mac, or Linux based computer using the TS-RDF9K All-in-One USB 3.1/3.0 UHS-II Card Reader from Transcend. This USB 3.1 Gen 1 compatible card reader supports data read/write speeds of up to 260 MB/s and 190 MB/s respectively when using a UHS-II compatible memory card. To achieve these enhanced data transfer rates, the UHS-II bus standard utilizes a second row of physical pins which increases the room for data to move to and from the card. Included with this card reader from Transcend is a copy of their own RecoveRx software designed to assist in the recovery of erased data.

Supports UHS-II Cards
The RDF9 USB 3.1/3.0 UHS-II Card Reader with a UHS-II interface is here to unleash the high speed performance of a UHS-II SD card, transferring high resolution RAW images and HD videos to your computer in just seconds. In addition, it is backward compatible with UHS-I and any other SDXC and SDHC SD cards.
Enhanced Data Transfer Rates
Taking full advantage of USB 3.1 and UHS-II technology, the read and write speeds of the RDF9 are up to 260 MB/s read and 190 MB/s write respectively - up to 2x faster than a USB 3.0 UHS-I card reader.
Professional Grade
The versatile RDF9 lets professional photographers, videographers, and graphic designers transfer data at high speed, accelerating the entire post-production processing.
Broad Compatibility
Besides the SD card slot, the multifunctional RDF9 also boasts CompactFlash, microSD, and Memory Stick card slots, offering you to transfer different types of digital files with one compact card reader.
Free RecoveRx Software
Transcend's RDF9 card reader includes a free download of our exclusive RecoveRx software - a user-friendly application that allows you to conduct an in-depth search within your storage device for traces of erased data that can be recovered.

    TS-RDF9K All-in-One USB 3.1/3.0 UHS-II Card Reader is rated 4.7 out of 5 by 34.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Top Performer! I use this with a USB 3.0 Type-C Male to Type-A Female adapter on a MacBook and couldn't be happier with the performance. It'a at least 2x as fast as my previous card reader which too is 3.0 but not SuperSpeed compliant. There are sometimes issues with my older card reader properly disconnecting from my Mac. Not this one. The only way they can improve on this is to have a USB-C cable included with the packaging. I understand why they used the older USB connector because of compatibility. But they can easily have a different model with that cable. Still a 5-star rating.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Super fast, though I miss the metal of the Hoodman Connected to my MSI Pro Gaming Carbon motherboard, I get near max sustained real world speed from my CF card transfers. That is better than I got with the Hoodman Steele USB 3.0, which I upgraded from. So for a 160 MB/sec Sandisk CF card, I get a sustained 120-130 MB/s offload speed, pretty darn fast. Saves much time after a wedding. I do use the SD slot occasionally and the micro SD card, but I never use the Sony Memory Card slot on the back. It would be very inconvenient plus I don't have any of those cards thankfully. It's just light and flakey a bit compared the the aluminum shell of the Hoodman Steel.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great card reader Small but pretty well built card reader, tripled my read speed from 30-35MB/s to 90MB/s for my Sandisk Extreme Pro cards on USB3 port. Accepts all kind of cards. Using it for about a month without any issues whatsoever, feels reliable and acts one, I like it a lot.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very Fast Card Reader I wanted something quicker than my old USB2 card reader, and this will fit the bill nicely. This reader is quite the speed demon. On my old reader, my SanDisk Extreme PRO cards used to max out around 20-25 MB/s but on this Transcend reader I'm getting almost 100 MB/s. That's a huge boost and for relatively low cost. I highly recommend this product.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Works...sometimes The good: it is cheap The bad: It freezes up large data transfers (over 2GB) so need to unplug and restart transfer It's good when it works, half the time. A bit of frustration is a small price to pay

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Awesome product but creates too many drives Awesome product. The only downside is that it creates one additional drive for each slot, even if there's no card on it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Suites my needs. I have never used a card reader, but this one performs extremely well. You just plug it in, insert your card, and off you go. From my experience it is fast, pulling/placing files can be done in a snap, and it is great for multitasking. It has a smaller cord, no complaints though, which makes it easy to place next to your workspace without taking a lot of space. This is one of the most durable devices I've used in a while, it is not cheaply made, very lightweight. I would recommend this product for your day to day needs.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from fast and well designed The transfer speeds are fast. Also, it's well designed, as the cable is on the opposite side from the SD card slot so inserting the card is not obstructed by the cable. And the cable is a good length.
