question

Will this work through walls?
Asked by: Vijay N.
The honest answer is: it depends. If they are thin walls of wood and plaster board those are much less a problem then concrete and rebar. Start with the fact this system is good for 300' line of sight. The moment you put stuff in the way, the distance shortens. In movie production practical terms if you are in the next room and only 30' away, this will work in a wood frame house and probably will work with concrete or cinder block if there are nearby doors or windows.

question

Asked by: Alec T.
Typically the LP-E6 batteries will power a transmitter or receiver for around 2 hours.

question

How do you mount the transmitter?
Asked by: Alex
There is a 1/4x20 mounting hole on the bottom of the transmitter. It can take a little screw ball with a hot shoe and be mounted on top of the camera. There is also a bracket that is metal and allows for several mounting positions with additional holes. This is really good for cages. The unit may seem expensive for some, and cheap for professionals, however I now have 2 units and I can tell you that they work very well, right out of the box with no fuss. They have good range and are very reliable.
