Encased in a compact, brick-like enclosure, Anton Bauer's Cine 90 VM Battery is designed to fit on run-and-gun and built-up cinema rigs. Based on a V-mount, Cine 90 VM batteries will charge in Anton-Bauer V-mount chargers. The low-profile industrial design blends with the aesthetic conventions of modern cinema cameras, while also being easy to store when not in use. Inside the battery, individual cell activity monitoring prevents cell failure from over-current and excessive temperatures. And in the case of extreme impact or thermal damage, Fuse Link technology provides protection to nearby cells, thereby preventing consecutive cell ruptures. Cine 90 VM batteries feature an LCD screen which displays battery capacity in run-time when power is being drawn or in percentage when there is no draw. Between the V-mount and the P-tap accessory output, the Cine 90 VM battery supports up to 12 amps of continuous power draw, and with its 90 watt-hour capacity, it's great for power-hungry cinema cameras, lights, and accessories.

Anton Bauer batteries should only be charged in an Anton Bauer charger. Per the manufacturer: it will void the warranty and may damage the batteries.

question

Does this come with a way to charge it or does that need to be purchased separately?
Asked by: Denis J.
Hi Denis, Yes charger is sold separately. If space is not an issue I really suggest you get the performance charger it is insanely faster and all the intelligent options to it are worth it. I know a new version of the quad even prepares your lithium batteries to the right charge to travel abroad, you can read on it on the website. I don't know if the double one has that same option if it's something interesting for you. And for the price difference I really suggest you buy the 150W ones. Cheers

question

Do these batteries charge to 100% on the read out? mine our only charging to a capacity of 97% This is the first time I am charging these batteries so perhaps the full charge takes a bit longer to get to 100%. Both batteries reached 97% and have been idle at that percentage for a while, this is 2 of the same batteries, both are at 97% so I have to assume this is normal, all feedback is appreciated.
Asked by: Alson R.
I have a dozen AB batteries, and they all reach 97% and go into a slow charge mode to reach 100%. Can take an additional 45-60 minutes to top them off. I assume this is to prolong the life of the battery by not cooking the cells.

question

Anton Bauer makes at least three 90 wh batteries: the CINE, the Dionic, and the Digital. Which one should I choose to power a professional 4k camera such as the Ursa Mini? Which one would be best for portably powering a Litepanel Astra?
Asked by: Arthur
To power 4K, high power draw cameras and accessories, CINE is the battery to choose. It is a 12 amp battery vs. the Digital or DIONIC batteries which are 10 amps. The 12 amp CINE is also perfect for powering the Astra.
