    HP LaserJet Pro M426fdn reviews

LaserJet Pro M426fdn All-in-One Monochrome Laser Printer is rated 3.9 out of 5 by 19.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from seems to be ok just replaced an older machine with the hp recomended replacement, set up was fairly easy, although had a bit of problem with receiving faxes, called into support and they updated the firmware, still same problem, I turned the machine on and off a couple of times and that seemed to fix the problem.....mine is hooked up to a TAD. this machine essentially does all the same as the last one but in a smaller/lower package (last machine mf2727)... seems to print fairly quickly, scans are much faster than the old machine. the touch screen is nice but my old fingers need some steadiness as it's a bit small for the older person but works quite well......I've only had it a week or two but so far so good

Rated 2 out of 5 by from The printer works fine. Scanner - not so much This printer is fast and has high quality, but perhaps its because I have it connected to a MAC, its scanning function is troublesome. Without prior knowledge, it takes quite some time to set it up to get it to scan to a desk top. Once that was figured out, for many scans larger than a couple pages, I will suddenly get various error messages, like "scanner is busy" and it will stop scanning. It must be printer driver or connectivity with MAC issue, because often I can only make it go away by re-booting computer and the printer. VERY FRUSTRATING

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Buy! Very pleased with the performance. I am glad we purchased it and would recommend it. I love the sturdy design for the output. Many printers in a comparable price range have flimsy trays.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good All In One. I gave it a 4 star instead of five star, because of installation. Drivers & software would not install, so I had to call HP for help. Turns out HP's software does not work but they talk you through how to do Windows 10 drivers installation. Not sure how it works in other versions of Windows. Didn't try. I checked yes on friend recommendation, however, it would depend on who it was.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from great machine apart from error prone fax great machine for printing, copying, scanning... but FAX is problematic at times - we have 2 of these and have found them to be prone to garbled and incomplete faxes. We had our line checked and it was fine. Telstra fax tests suggest the machine may send at too low a volume but there doesn't seem to be any way to adjust this ( perhaps HP can advise if so ? )

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Printer is Possessed! I have never had a multifunction machine restart on its own and then have so many errors associated with it. This was a personal office printer for purposes of copy, printing, and scanning. This printer was ordered in place of the LaserJet Pro 400 MFP 425dn because the one I had was discontinued.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Extremely good multi-function printer Very good multi-function printer from HP. Here are what I like and it works well. 1. high speed at 40 ppm 2. fast first page, start printing right away 3. scan into all format JPEG, PNG, TIFF, Bitmap, XPS, and PDF; Scalable PNG is especially important for my work 4. can use HP OCR fast and easy 5. Good user interface The only thing I have to get used to is the touch panel. You cannot push too hard. Just need the right touch.
