Ergonomic Handle
Providing a grip for easy handheld operation, the handle incorporates a joystick for panning and tilting the gimbal. There is also record start/stop button and a shutter button, putting the essential controls right at your fingertips. A trigger allows you to toggle modes. The camera/gimbal assembly can detach from the handle for storage or use in other applications.
Optional Phone Holder
A rosette attachment allows you to connect a separately-available phone holder. This enables you to use your smartphone as a monitor to view a live image - streamed via Wi-Fi - from the camera. It can be rotated to achieve an optimal viewing angle. The mobile device holder disconnects so that you can use Osmo with other mounting accessories, such as the extension rod.
Audio Recording
An integrated microphone allows onboard audio recording when paired with the Osmo Gimbal and Camera. With advanced controls like audio gain settings, you can be sure you're not only getting the shot but also capturing the sound. A standard 3.5mm port is also available, so you can plug in your own microphone.
Battery
The handle provides an enclosure for a separately-available removable battery. A green LED indicates ample charge, and turns red alerting you the battery is getting low.
Intelligent Sleep Mode
Put down the Osmo, and it automatically enters into sleep mode after a set amount of time. This not only extends the Osmo's battery life, but also increases the lifespan of its advanced electronics.

Designed specifically for the Osmo handheld gimbal system, the LiPo Osmo Intelligent Battery from DJI has a 980mAh capacity and features intelligent battery-saving features.

Note: Only recharge using the Osmo Intelligent Battery Charger, sold separately.

DJI Osmo Intelligent Battery Charger

The DJI Osmo Intelligent Battery Charger allows you to recharge the Osmo Intelligent Battery that is used to power the Osmo handheld gimbal system up to 85%. It plugs into a 100 to 240 VAC, 50/60 Hz wall socket using the included North American compatible power cable. It's compatible with the Osmo, Osmo+, Osmo Mobile, Osmo Pro, and Osmo Raw.

DJI Osmo Phone Holder

Compatible with the Osmo/Osmo +/Osmo Pro/Osmo Raw, this Phone Holder from DJI attaches to the side rosette on the Osmo handheld gimbal system. This enables you to mount your smartphone, use it as a monitor to view a live image, and adjust the camera settings over Wi-Fi through the DJI GO app. The rosette attachment allows you to rotate the mount to achieve an optimal viewing angle.

Will this work with small cameras from other manufacturers? What is the weight or size limit?

It only works with the DJI x3 and x5's at this point. With the x5 you will need an adapter.

Does the inspire1 camera shoot in 1080 at 120fps? Or just the X3 that comes with the Osmo? Or is the only difference the color between the camera on the osmo and the camera on the inspire 1?

There are a few small differences to functionality on the osmo camera built for handheld but I used the x3 I1 camera with No problems. Both cameras shoot at 120fps slo mo but it is not a true (editable)120fps. Its a compressed structure that shoots 120 but records at 30. So in editing it will be a 30fps clip. Unlike the other higher rate shooting rate of 60fps, which is actually 60 fusion editing..
