Available here as a 25-pack of 11 x 14" sheets, the EDU Ultra FB VC Fine Grain Matte Paper from Arista is a traditional black and white paper. It provides a double weight fiber base, and this variable contrast paper with a matte surface can be developed in standard black and white chemicals. This paper is compatible with Kodak, Varycon, and Ilford filters, and the use of yellow and magenta colored filters permits selection of the desired contrast from a range of grades similar to that of graded papers. Additionally, the fine grain, matte surface has a slightly textured, flat, non-reflective surface for hand coloring with oil-based paints.

Arista EDU Ultra FB VC Matte Reviews
Can be used for bromoil
Last year I bought couple packs from B&H photo with intention to use this paper for proof prints for bromoil (I do bromoil printing) and decided to test this paper for bromoil. And I can say-this paper can be used for bromoil.. Its not the best paper for such process ,but with some exceptions can be used for bromoil,
A reasonably priced Fiber based paper.
With contrast filters and split grade exposure, you can coax a lot out of this paper. The only minor issue with it is the base paper is a light cream/off white color. Which will work well with some images, and if there is enough snow in the scene, it is not usually noticed, Though in the Palm Dome image, the white painted window frames come out a bit grey, even with split grade exposure. A number of images get repeated as I am compairing papers for a larger project.
A fraction warmer than Ilford Matte - a very light light ivory tone. I like it!
Great paper for reasonable price
I love Arista and have no complaints yet. I've used Ilford as well and always find that Arista gets the job done and meets my standards, and it's more budget-friendly.
Good tone rendition and fidelity, very low curl when hang dried
