Part of the expanding line of Fresnels, the Dracast Fresnel 200 Daylight LED Light has the same quality features as its larger siblings like the Fresnel 2000, but in a smaller lighter package. Ideal for working close-up where less power is needed, the Fresnel 200 offers 0-100% dimming locally and high output with extremely low power draw and virtually no generated heat. This means that no fan is needed and the light runs dead quiet - an important feature in sound-sensitive environments. And the output has a very high CRI rating of 95 thanks to Dracast's use of Cree Surface Mount LED, meaning faithful rendering of colors down to the most subtle tones. The LED 200 is built on a sturdy aluminum alloy housing and comes with a mounting yoke and 4-way barndoors.

Dracast Fresnel 200 Daylight Reviews
Update after using a while
This is Jason, I previously reviewed this product when I first received it. Now that I’ve had it a while (probably used it 50 times), I wanted to give an update. The light itself is good for the price. Color is good, adjustable beam is nice. However the power cord and controller are so badly bade that the inner power cables have frayed off and disconnected. Obviously the light stopped working, but furthermore it is unsafe; there were pops and flashes multiple times in the power plug part as the cord began to disconnect itself over mild use. Any cheap power cable is built so much better than the ones on these. It’s such a basic safety issue and would have cost the company next to nothing to have proper normal IEC power plugs. I’m worried that somebody will use this and it will start a fire; the plastic housing would melt or it could short the AC together because the inner cords are all frayed. I can’t attach a photo on here so I will attempt to describe it: the inside of the AC power plug has connections for plus/minus/ground. These are barely soldered in and not shielded from each other. The plug housing does not bear the strain of tugging on the power cord so the solder points do; thus the fray over use and eventually short out or disconnect. Review: one star. This product should be recalled for safety reasons.
Don't do it.
We ordered 2 of these for work. While the light is great, the controller is made out of the cheapest plastic possible. When they WERE working they barely were able to turn the light on and off, but then they both stopped working within a couple of weeks of each other leaving us with 2 lights and no way to turn them on or off. Unless they upgrade the controller box I don't recommend buying these lights, they're a total waste of money.
