Featuring dual handgrips on iso-elastic style arms, the Nebula 4200 5-Axis Gyroscope Stabilizer is a handheld stabilization system that adds vertical and mechanism stabilization to the traditional motorized 3-axis system. The result is a full 5-axis stabilization system that gives your footage that classic floating-camera look typically associated with vest-and-arm systems but in a compact and easy-to-use form factor. The stabilizer supports loads up to 5.5 lb, making it suitable for DSLR and mirrorless cameras.

Utilizing a 32-bit board, dual sensors, and three motors, the stabilizer can counteract unwanted shakes and movement along the pan, tilt, and roll axes to provide smooth, stabilized footage. The iso-elastic arms work to eliminate vertical movement of stops when walking or running, while also providing a small degree of horizontal stabilization as your hands move left or right. Tool-less adjustment points enable quick and easy balancing, with full tuning and parameter control done over Bluetooth on iOS or Android mobile devices. Up to five presets can be stored for quickly switching between different camera and lens setups.

For single-handed operation, a single handle is also provided which can be attached as a top handle with the camera positioned below it, or vertically with the camera on top. These setups will only yield 3-axis stabilization. Also included are two camera plates, a smart battery with 4-hour runtime, battery charger, and a hard case for safely storing and transporting the stabilizer and accessories.

    Rated 4 out of 5 by from Fun device but requires patience I haven't used the Nebula 4200 extensively yet, but right out the box is was pretty fun to experiment with it. The quick balance process isn't that complicated ( I found a video on youtube that shows how that works and the manual explains pretty well how to do it.) The device feels pretty sturdy to me. I can understand that the plastic handles can be a turn off for some user but tt doesn't bother me. I'm using the gimbal with a Sony a7sii with a 24-70mm Vario tessar and that seems to be a little heavy for the motor but only wehn the gimbal has to follow the movement and point the lens up, the semi-follow and lock mode work perfectly and I suspect that with a smaller lens the gimbal would have less trouble. You can also adjsut the motor input though an app but I haven't tried yet. My springs are not squeaking and yes the gimbal has worked more than once and still does. Bottom line is that if you are a tad tech savy and have a little patience this can be a really fun device and can give great results.

    Rated 1 out of 5 by from Most expensive piece of garbage I have ever purchased I have spent many hours trying to get it nice and leveled with my A6500 and Sigma 35Art lens. This is what I purchased it for. After getting assistance from a Professional in the industry who uses similar systems, he recommended that I log into the device and tweak the system. I am a Mac user and to my surprise the system connects ONLY with Bluetooth and runs on a JAVA application. After 2 hours of trying to get it to work, I attempted to look up instructions on how to make it work but was unsuccessful. Out of the box the product never worked correctly, even leveled appropriately, when walking aroud, the gimbal kind of did its own thing, it doesnt follow well at all. Additionally the product feels VERY cheap in your hands. Its got a lot of Plastic all over it. While trying to level it for the last time, it fell off of the bench I was trying to level it on and took a 2 foot spill. The cable that connects the M board to the YAW motor on the bottom literally broke in half. Its a 3 cable connection that I assume powers and controls the motor. B&H has a no return polocy on this product and now I know why. Its garbage. I reached out to Nebulas support and they have also notified me that they are not going to take the product back or refund me any money because I purchased it through B&H. I purchased the Wireless remote and JIB with this. Both cheaply made. The jib showed up broken (it was the carbon fiber one) There seems to be no quality control with the product either.

    Rated 3 out of 5 by from Low quality but it works. I agree with others who have said this feels cheaply made. It does. But it works. It takes the bounce out of my walking and makes for very smooth video. The issues are that the 'quick connects' are very cheap. one of the bolts for tightening the handles is now stripped so that I cannot loosen it any more. It was very hard to adjust the spring tension. The balance is easy enough to set and, once set, it works very well.

I still don't know how too connect to Bluetooth or calibrate yet.. but smooth pans easy mode settings.Handles are not that strong but can be replaced.. But it's a good buy for inde. Film makers with two in one gimbal on a budget..

    Rated 5 out of 5 by from A great product!! This is the only pistol-grip style lightweight gimbal that would work with my Panasonic FZ-1000. It works excellently. Definitely a 5-star product. And I would recommend it to all my friends. The B&H team were wonderful as always. I love B&H and I love my new Nebula 4200.
