This DAS comes with Q-SATA connectivity technology that delivers instant access to four of your drives by offering an individual SATA 6 Gb/s lane for each drive. To fully utilize the performance of an internal drive system externally, the enclosure provides four SATA-based hot-swappable bays that can each support a 2.5" or 3.5" hard drive or an SSD. Furthermore, you can configure the drives in a RAID mode by utilizing the downloadable RAID management software suite.
The 4-port host adapter card occupies a PCIe 2.0 x8 slot inside your desktop and delivers a total bandwidth speed of up to 24 Gb/s per SFF-8088 port. HighPoint has equipped this card with a single SFF-8088 connector that connects to the RocketStor 6414TS enclosure. To help keep your drives operating at peak performance, two cooling fans are onboard. In addition, this card features a low-profile design that is compatible with a small desktop case.
