Hi I looking for some type of protect against rain and dust for the lenses when using the Lens kit any suggestions? Thanks for all help Anders
Asked by: Anders
If you are referring to an item that will protect your lens while you are currently shooting with a second lens until you are ready to use the previous lens, then the Peak Design Canon EF CaptureLENS, B&H # PECLCC1, will work for your usage needs. This will protect your lens from dust, but it is not listed as weather-proof. It is for convenience. If you are looking for an option that protects your lens from dust and rain when using the camera, I would recommend the Ruggard Fabric Rain Shield Small (14"), B&H # RURCFC714, or the Ruggard RC-P8 Rain Cover for DSLR with Lens up to 8" (Pack of 2), B&H # RURCP8, for your usage needs.

is this V3 or V2?
Asked by: Darshan
I have two of these and while I don't know which version they are the newest one purchased about a mouth ago and the older one are identical. With that said, they are a terrific addition to my gear. I'm a Canon shooter and I routinely keep a 70-200mm lens attached to the CaptureLENS while I am using my 24-70mm lens - then I just switch them when I need the other lens. Well worth the money.
