C25B 10-Outlet Power-Saving Surge Protector and Power Filter is rated 4.5 out of 5 by 82.
Rated 3 out of 5 by from Fails the hearing test This outlet is very functional and exactly what I was looking for in plug placement but it was unexpectedly very loud when you plug anything into it. It makes an electric hum like that of a fluorescent light fixture needing a new balast. If this is for the baby's room or a room needing quiet this is not for you. I bought 2 and they both make that electric hum sound.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Doesn't work with all electronics: UPDATE! I raised this a star from my earlier review because I received an e mail from B&H that they would cover all the shipping when I return the APC. Bellow is the original review: This did not work for my Nuprime preamp to turn of the rest of the Audio system . When it failed to work I measured the Wattage draw at 1 watt in sleep mode and 8 watts running. This is apparently not enough of a difference to trigger the switched outlets. As a test I used my laptop at sleep mode ( not charging at 1 watt ) set the threshold and 30 watts out of sleep mode running and that was enough of a difference to activate the switched outlets without a problem. The manufacturer gives no specs for the minimum power difference so I had no way of knowing, the box simply states it works.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from It Works The product works but, of course, I have no idea how well it will respond to an electricl surge. Hopefully, I will never find out. The item seems made well and looks good but I saw a competeing brand yesterday for a few dollars more with more outlets. So, did I really get a great deal? Now I'm not so sure but it has allowed me to eleiminate the clutter of power cords that I had. I have a 7 year old APC bigger surge protector/back-up which only had to do it's stated job one time - it worked perfectly. I also heard that everytime it is called upon to prevent electrical damage it gets weaker??? Hopefully, I'l never find out.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent for the price Generally, I'm happy with this purchase (bought 2 at the same time). The unit is solidly-built and very sharp looking at the same time. One thing that stands out, though, is that its standard 17 width makes it appear to be intended for stacking with other audio/video components in a rack or cabinet, but the side-mounted power cord tends to make that difficult in certain situations. Otherwise, it's a very good value for the price.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Surge Protector This surge protector is thin enough to easily fit behind components in your A/V cabinet, or behind a wall-mounted flat panel TV. The ability to rotate the outlets makes it that much more versatile. As a word of warning - this is a very long power strip. Make sure you have room for it, or you may be disappointed. I was originally planning on mounting it on the side of my cabinet, but it's too long to be mounted horizontally, and would require the shelves to 18 apart if mounted vertically. Instead I mounted it horizontally across the back and it was fine.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good Product, Worth the Investment The shipping was fast, I had no trouble keeping track of the product's location when it was in route for delivery. The product itself was well packed and arrived in good condition. Since the power sockets are on a swivel, it makes it easier for me to connect my PC and other computer related accessories. It is a bit heavy so be careful when you handle the package. I purchased the product when it was on sale, so the product could be pricey now. Regardless, if you are looking for a product that will protect your electric gadgets from potential power surge this is the outlet you should go with.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Solid unit. Got this unit on sale at B&H for $, shipping included. At that price, it can't be beat. I have it hooked up to a home theater system. I have found it kind of annoying that many receiver manufacturers have removed the powered plugs in the back of their units in recent years (talking about you, Yamaha!), as this makes it difficult to power down subwoofer units when the receiver is turned off. This APC strip solves the problem. Will pay for itself through power saved in under a year. I have multiple APC products. They are always solidly built. Good quality. Highly recommend.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great power strip with many options I don't use this as specifically intended. It allows you to have a master outlet such that when the power is off to the master device, the controlled outlets also turn off. I don't use it this way. I just like that it the outlets swivel and that there are ten of them! I also like that it stands up and fits nicely on a small table without taking too much room. I use this as a charging station for the ridiculous amounts of battery chargers, phone chargers and whatever chargers that I have. This appears to be a solid unit with lots of useful features if you need them.
