The Acer Predator X34 34" 21:9 Curved G-SYNC IPS Gaming Monitor features a curved design so you can comfortably view the images located on edges as on the center. Acer X34 reviews

    Predator X34 34" 21:9 Curved G-SYNC IPS Gaming Monitor is rated 4.5 out of 5 by 33.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Amazing gaming monitor I use it mostly for gaming, and for some productivity and photo editing. It's a great gaming monitor, although, not all games support its ultrawide format, which sucks but hopefully there will be more support as time goes on. Good color, contrast, there's a bit of backlight bleed at the corners, but its not bad. The G-Sync is awesome, now that I have it, I don't know how I got by without it, my monitor Overclocked to 100Hz without any problems. Also there's tons of screen real estate when you have to be productive. Yes, its really expensive, so are Ferraris, if you have the means, I highly recommend it.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Amazing picture quality I've been using this monitor for 2 weeks now, and I am quite pleased. The overclock is stable at 100hz and there is no noticeable coil whine. Everyone once and a while I do get a weird flicker when waking the computer up. This monitor is easily the best one I've ever had. I did have some issues with my nvidia drivers with this monitor, but a reversion to an older driver fixed it. The vesa mounts were easy to use. I am taking one star away because the OSD is utter crud. I thought it was just whining on other people's part, but it does suck and it makes calibrating the monitor a pain.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Almost the one I've been researching this monitor for the longest time and finally got it! It took forever but I was glad to wait since several issues were fixed such as the banding issue in addition to wake from sleep bug others were experiencing. I have a 4790k & 980ti build for a PC which had no issues at all. 1440p and the 980ti are a match made in heaven. I could not run everything at ultra since I wanted to keep a FPS of 70+. Coming from a 1080p 144hz monitor this is still very amazing. 3440x1440p may possibly be the holy grail resolution for gaming & productivity. Games are absolutely immersive while playing blu rays that have the proper aspect ratio are a pleasure. Being able to have 3-4 windows open side by side it's hard to go back to any other monitor. From all this you're probably asking why it's only 3 stars. Issues I have are below: -Black light bleed (minimal & acceptable) -Slight dust under screen (acceptable) -Whine noise depending on screen brightness/content (acceptable) -Dead Pixel (Unacceptable) This is my monitor until it dies, that's how good it is and after seeing a dead pixel you'll never be able to un-see it ever again. I believe in paying for quality and the $1300 spent is well worth but not for this one issue. But on that note let's end with the great things: -I was able to clock to 100 HZ no problem -The colors and viewing angles are definitely above my current TN panel BenQXL2720z -GSync once you've experienced, you wonder why it took so long for it to be implemented Currently I've shipped the monitor back for a replacement seriously hoping I can get one immediately without the issues and before work starts again as I'm on currently enjoying vacation. After tasting the sweetness of the predator my BenQ is no longer the apple of my eye(She's still my fav for FPS multiplayer games though lol). So yes the $1300 price is absolutely worth it as long as you don't have the issues because it's just that amazing when working properly.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Yessssss got my 100hz.. Im very happy to got a monitor that works.. I ordered this one from @ a few weeks ago and had a issue overclocking the hz to 100 and it went crazy did some crazy flicking and only went to 95 but not this time.. My baby is home..and love it. If you ever have a bad one just trade it in for a new one and once you do get one you will love it.. Just be patient for a new one so worth the wait..Oh by the way yeah the options are a pain at first but you will get use to using them no biggie to put down and I do hate the frame that holds the monitor.. way to big and wide so I'm getting a monitor mount to fix that issue..

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Ultrawide Display, I wish it would overclock to 122hz. I love this monitor, but there are some little things I dislike about it, mainly game manufactures unwillingness to include 21:9 support blaming it on an advantage when 122-200hz is acceptable. This is not the monitors fault, but I do dislike the on screen display, shiny black back, and the very minimal IPS bleed. While the bleed is minimal it is still there and I have decided to just accept it being part of having a IPS panel. I am somewhat futureproof with this monitor and the only way I will upgrade is if they increase the amount of HZ we can overclock to which is currently limited by the Display Port cable.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Expensive, but WORTH IT ! Wow. I researched this monitor for over 6 months. Saw some of the early issues...waited. I have been running it almost everyday since I got it..no real banding/light bleed issues at all. No whine Overclocked with out a hitch.Even the Speakers are pretty good for daily use. Takes gaming and Movies to a whole new level. The only complaint has been stated many times - not them most intuitive OSD menu system. The Stand is Solid, handle is great and no wobble at all, easy to move screen up and down. Packaging is very good, box looked a little dinged but there was so much padding not even close to an issue.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love the Monitor, B&H FAILED on the shipping The product was shipped in its own packaging, it arrived with a huge hole in the front of the box. By a miracle the screen was undamaged, but the fact that a $1300 monitor was shipped out in just its own box without any added protection just boggles my mind. With that said, I would never by anything of this magnitude from B&H again,it is apparent that they have no regard for the products their customers buy.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Beauty for Immersion Oh I was craving for this monitor since I started assembling my first PC which was four months ago, I wanted to make a monster of a PC with the best components. And somehow I was always attracted to the idea of Ultrawide gaming as increases immersion manifold and as I mainly play RPGs, this seemed to be the best idea and fit. I had got GTX1080 as my graphic card, so I need a G-Sync enabled monitor and my research everywhere pointed me to Acer X34, it was predominantly crowned the King of Ultrawide gaming (at least for Nvidia Cards). It was a hefty price tag and deals were not to e found or were sold out prematurely. So I decided to take the plunge with B&H (at least I didn't had to pay the tax ;-)) Item arrived on time, man it was a huge box and there were few dents in the box, which got me worried instantly. I opened the ox and thankfully everything was fine. I was ale to install the monitor easily and man it was a beauty. The controls can be a bit irritating in the start (mainly because of their position), but once you get used to it, its a minor annoyance. you can setup upto three gaming profiles (setting different properties) and it comes in handy. I overclocked the monitor to 100Hz because why not and saw that games immediately started picking up higher frame rates. Checked for back light Bleed or Dead pixels and at least I couldn't identify any, so check mark on that aspect too. Overall I am extremely happy with this buy and it does provide that extra level of immersion. I just hope more and more games start providing 21:9 support. Highly Recommended
