My 27" late 2015 Mac OS has room for two 8GB memory modules. Cheaper to buy one 16GB. Can I use one 16GB instead of 2 8GB?
Asked by: Sidney
I just added 2 8GB memory modules to the same Mac. All 4 have to be the same. So either 4- 8 modules or 2 - 16GB modules. My Mac is working faster now that I have 32GB total, which is the max for the Late 2015 Mac.

question

Why is this product/package prized so high or so differently? Say, with other OCW 32GB package? I'm talking about the OWC / Other World Computing 32GB DDR3 1867 MHz SO-DIMM Memory Kit (2 x 16GB, Late 2015 iMac Retina 5K) which is prized at $508, while the other package is just around $200.
Asked by: Lavrente
What is the item code for the other 32GB kit that you are comparing this one to?
