With the ability to automatically steer dual band compatible devices to the optimal frequency, the EWS660AP Neutron Series Dual Band Wireless AC1750 Managed Outdoor Access Point from EnGenius is capable of providing reliable bandwidth to each connected device. In addition to concurrent dual-band 2.4 GHz/5 GHz functionality, this access point supports 802.11a/b/g/n/ac network standards along with maximum data throughput of up to 1750 Mbps. Installation is simple thanks to the single RJ-45 Gigabit Ethernet interface with support for 802.3at/af PoE, eliminating the need to run a separate power source. The EWS660AP features an IP65 rated enclosure designed to withstand harsh weather conditions including sever and prolonged exposure to sunlight, extreme cold, frost, snow, rainfall, hail, and humidity.

Neutron Series Managed Access Point
The EWS660AP can be configured, managed and monitored with several Neutron Series Access Points from the browser-based interface of one Neutron Series Wireless Management Layer 2 PoE+ Switch. After a Neutron Series Layer PoE+ Switch discovers the EWS660AP it can be "added" and set to be "managed" by the Switch. The Neutron Wireless Management solution supports bulk firmware upgrades and other features that can be set and managed across deployed Neutron Series Access Points simultaneously.
Dual Band for Expanded User Capacity
With 802.11n/ac concurrent dual band Wi-Fi you can connect to both the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz frequency bands for expanded user capacity. The EWS660AP can support over 100 users.
High Power Long Range Coverage
With high transmit power on each band you benefit from more than twice the wireless coverage over mainstream competitors.
Band Steering
The EWS660AP automatically detects dual band client devices in the network and shifts their traffic to the wider and less congested 5 GHz frequency band in order to minimize congestion on the 2.4 GHz in an effort to optimize overall bandwidth traffic on the network.
Wireless Speeds
Delivers faster file transfers and smoother video streaming with up to 450 Mbps on the 2.4 band and up to 1300 Mbps on the 5 GHz frequency band for faster throughput AC client devices.
Made For Harsh Outdoor Environments
The EWS660AP comes with an IP65-rated enclosure, one of the highest waterproof and dustproof ratings available, designed to withstand extremely harsh environmental conditions including severe and prolonged exposure to sunlight, extreme cold, frost, snow, rainfall, hail and humidity. The housing of the Access Point also has been manufactured to repel ultraviolet (UV) radiation from the sun.
SSID-to-VLAN Tagging
Configure the EWS660AP to broadcast up to eight (16) SSIDs (8 SSIDs per frequency band). Each SSID can be tagged to a specified network VLAN for different user access tiers based on established access rights.
