The Osmo Gimbal and Camera is designed specifically for use with the separately available Osmo Handle, forming an all-in-one camera and handheld 3-axis stabilizer. The camera is equipped with a 94° wide-angle lens and features a 1/2.3" CMOS sensor that enables up to full DCI 4K (4096 x 2160) video recording at 24/25 fps, as well as 12MP still photos. The camera is integrated into a gimbal system that incorporates three motors which serve to stabilize the camera as well as move it manually in relation to the handle. The handle is required for handheld operation, power, audio, and basic controls, including a joystick for manual pan and tilt.

For monitoring and more advanced operation, there is a Wi-Fi link allowing the Osmo to be tethered to a mobile device running the DJI GO iOS and Android app. The Wi-Fi features a range of up to 82', so you can operate the camera and gimbal remotely as well. The app also gives you access to advanced shooting modes such as Automatic Panorama and Time-Lapse.

Note: A separately available Osmo Handle is required to use the Osmo Gimbal and Camera. The Osmo Gimbal and Camera is not compatible with the Inspire 1.

3-Axis Gimbal Stabilizer
The camera system incorporates three motors which serve to stabilize the camera as well as move it manually in relation to the handle. Using the handle's joystick or the app, it can be panned over a 320° range, tilt down 35°, and up 135°. It can pan or tilt at a rate of up to 120° per second
DJI GO App
Remotely operate the gimbal and view a live feed using the GO App for iOS and Android. A Wi-Fi link in the camera allows you to tether your mobile device, and supports a range of up to 85'. In addition to basic operation, the app allows you to change camera settings and access advanced features
Panorama Mode
The Automatic Panorama mode is designed to make shooting 360° panoramas as seamless as possible. Just hold the Osmo up above your head and tap a button. The camera will rotate, capturing images as it goes while staying completely level
Time-Lapse Recording
Osmo simplifies recording the passage of time. Whether standing still for a stationary Time-Lapse, or moving through your world for a hyperlapse, you can create smooth videos automatically and without a tripod
