Spider Camera Holster SpiderPro Overview

Respond almost instantaneously to unfolding photo opportunities with the Kodiak SpiderPro Hand Strap from Spider Camera Holster. The strap is designed to work with your DSLR camera and lens with or without a vertical grip. Because the bottom of the strap mounts between your camera and any tripod plate, it won't interfere with the tripod mounting and you can leave it attached to your camera. The top of the SpiderPro strap is attached by threading it to your camera's upper strap lug. Both the bottom and top of strap can be easily adjusted to the size of your hand.

The strap's curved S-shape and optional, snap-on wrist strap contribute to making your camera feel almost as though it was an extension of your arm. The S-shape is designed to allow unfettered access to the battery door and memory card slots. While it provides added support, the use of the snap-on wrist strap is a matter of personal preference. The foam padding and leather backing provide both comfort and optimal hand positioning for manipulating all camera controls. In addition, with repeated use, the leather will conform to the unique shape of your hand for a custom-like fit.

I have 2 questions: 1- Will it works on a Fuji XT2 without a metal grip ? 2- same question without the metal gripThanks ?
Asked by: Luc
Thank you Luc.. Assuming you are reffering to the commonly used Arca-Swiss style L bracket as the "metal grip" - compatibility can depends on the type/make of the grip. In some situations with brackets on smaller, Mirrorless bodies, the hand strap will attach just fine but may block the battery door. If you are operating the camera without a bracket - no worries - the Spider Hand Strap comes with complete harware set (washer, screw and wrench) to attach it to the camera's 14/20" tripod connection. For further inquiries please email directly thrugh spiderholster.com. Many thanks, Spider Team

Will this work with a Nikon Z6II?
Asked by: Antonio
Hi Antonio and thank you - PLEASE purchase the SpiderPro hand strap v2. This newer style strap is equipped with adapters that fit the Nikon Z6 style body/controls. The Kodiak hand strap you refer to is excellent, but it is an older version (before Z6 was available) and so will most likley interfere with the Z6 control/top buttons. Many thanks, Spider Team

Will this fit a Sony Alpha a37 comfortably?
Asked by: Harrison
It will fit, probably not comfortably at first, but it does break in quickly. One other consideration is hand size and making sure you have it fitted properly. I use mine with a 1DX and a 70-200 2.8 with no issue.

Hi Dianna and thank you. This may depends on your particular style of L Bracket (they are not all the same in the way they attach to the camera body and their lengths differ as well. It is best for you to connect with Spider directly with details of your L Bracket (pictures of your current setup are appreciated!) for us to determine the best solution? Many thanks, Spider Team

Paiwei has got it right, you can attach a strap that mounts to the tripod socket of your camera, like Black Rapid. click the link below to view the options; https://bhpho.to/30bqELy
