The HM901s High-Resolution Portable Music Player from HIFIMAN utilizes a pair of the ES9018 DAC high-performance chips from ESS Technology. Two chips per individual channel provide warm sound and remarkable midrange reproduction. The player supports Direct Stream Digital (DSD) 2.8 MHz files for high-quality playback and decodes 24-bit 192 kHz high definition music files, while also upsampling to 24/192. It features a balanced amplifier card that uses four OPA627 Op-amps and four OPA634 buffers. The amp card works in balanced mode for earphones/headphones with a 3.5mm standard jack.
